Que has always been a fierce guy in the league that has always had something to say. If you ever fired something his way, you better be expecting a response. On the other hand of that, Que was someone that you know you could keep it real with, and he’s a dude you could actually have a genuine conversation with. That’s not to say that these things are no longer true, but the opportunity just doesn’t seem to be there as much. The most action we get from Que maybe a few minutes in general chat, and then we see game streams light up with his stream stating, “Quentingotit is now live on Twitch – Ghost of Tsushima.” I would be lying if I said I never experienced Madden burnout, and I think we all have our moments and lulls through the cycle where maybe we aren’t necessarily as invested as we were at our highest level. Not to mention, I am not in the commissioner chat, so maybe he spends a reasonable amount of time in there. Nonetheless, it makes you wonder. Is Que tired of PML, or is he just burnt out on Madden? One is different from the other, but how can we tell which one he may be experiencing. The fact of the matter is, we can’t, unless we have insider information.
However, from the outside looking in, it just looks like he has lost his fire. What happened to the Que that said he was going to win a Super Bowl this cycle? What happened to the Que that turned a no name running back into arguably a top 10 back, if not higher? What happened to the Que that was talking s*** and chopping it on the prediction show? What happened to the Que that was talking s*** 24/7? What happened to the Que that said I couldn’t win in the playoffs, let alone a Super Bowl, with a facecam on? What happened to the Que that came in chat with wild life stories? What happened to the Que that used to be on everyone *** when they talked **** and held them to the standard needed to back it up? What happened to the Que I know? Now he’s just somebody that we used to know..
In all seriousness though, I genuinely hope the Que finds that passion and desire that he once had. He has so much to prove, although he may not admit it. I want to see Que at his best, because I feel like I haven’t seen it. Have we seen him in a couple AFC playoff races in Madden 23 last year, sure. However, it just seems that he is not as bought in. He got off to a great start developing his team, and he has speed all around, and I just wanted to see what he would be capable of this cycle. Are we going to see that though? Time is running out.
