Can you talk about what it’s like to prepare to go against a player like Troy Franklin?
Troy is quickly becoming one the most feared receivers in the league, he's a rare talent that blends straight line speed with a deep route tree. And he's in the right offense to eat large portions.
Did you scout Jihaad Campbell before the draft? If so, what stood out about him?
Yes, we were very impressed with, well, everything about Jihaad. He checks all the boxes, most importantly he's the kind of guy that you can put on the field on day 1 and be a leader of your defense. Unfortunately the pipe dream of Jihaad dropping to us at 32 was shattered when Tennessee went to the podium and they got a phenomenal player.
What are your thoughts about the Titans just in general as a team?
The Titans have one of the best passing attacks in the league, and looking at their skill position players its easy to see why with 3 superstars and one of the quickest backs in the league in Blake Corum. Defensively you know they are a man heavy squad with a solid DB room, but they do a great job of disguising their coverages from cover 2, cover 1 robber.
