What are your thoughts about the Broncos going into this week?
The Broncos and Coach DK are a tough opponent to open the season with. We have battles dating back to last cycle, and the games are always competitive. We hope to be able to come out and establish our gameplan early while also making sure that we're efficient and effective. It should be a good game in a tough Denver environment.
What stands out about your opponent's defense?
The duo of Patrick Surtain and Marshon Lattimore provide a stout challenge in the back four. We will not only have to be methodical, but efficient with our playcalls if we want to avoid any unnecessary turnovers. He also has a great pass rush led by Nik Bonitto and Ty Hamilton so protecting our young QB will be essential to our success.
Which new player are you most excited about and why?
Honestly? It's quarterback Bo Nix. We believe the ceiling for him is infinite. He had an incredible bounce back season following his torn tricep his rookie year. We believe things will only get better from here, and we're excited to see what the future holds.
How did your team address its biggest needs in the offseason?
With the regression of Tyler Lockett, it was pivotal that we found a solid replacement for him in the offseason, be it the draft or free agency. We were extremely fortunate to have a top WR fall to us in the draft, and he had a solid first week
