Did you scout Daylan Carnell before the draft? If so, what stood out about him?
Absolutely, Daylan Carnell was actually the number 1 prospect on our draft board. We had an opportunity to move up and grab him before the ravens pick, but we decided against it. We’re extremely happy with our first round selection, DQ smith.
How do you see the competition level in the AFC North currently?
With the scandalous ousting of Coach Kmfo, the division is wide open. After coming in 2nd each of the past 2 seasons, we’re ready to claim our division title back.
How do you rank the biggest changes to this team over the off-season by importance? What do you think were the team's best moves? Was there anything you wish you would have done that didn't get to do?
Our biggest acquisition this offseason was the pickup of Dameon Pierce. After we weren’t able to resign Najee Harris, Pierce comes in to what will be a more balanced offense this season.
Other than Najee we were able to retain the majority of our starters.
We were also able to shore up the back end of our defense by adding DQ Smith.
Overall, our team got much better this past offseason.
