Can you talk about what it’s like to prepare to go against a player like Caleb Williams?
Caleb Williams is a dangerous player, especially as a threat in the running game. We had the choice to stop him through the air or on the ground, and we chose to contain him in the pocket and force him to throw.
Can you describe how important it was to get a win at home this week?
A win this week was huge, especially heading into the bye week. We're going to give the team some well-needed rest and get ready for oour week 14 matchup against the Vikings. Sitting at 8-4 through 12 weeks is an ideal situation, but our schedule the back half of the season is going to make or break the team.
Can you describe kind of the energy or the mood and the vibe in the building now coming in the home stretch?
Nico's injury really soured the mood for the team and the building. The dynamic rookie was set to break records this season. But, the team has rallied around second year player in Kyle McCord. He has the tools to run our offense and the defense is excited to help the young signal caller by keeping the opponents offense off the field.
