How has Ted Karras’s experience in the league helped the team so far?
He got pushed around like an old man this past week by Calijah Kancey. He better get his head out of his a**, I'll put some trash a** rookie in over him if he keeps getting auto-shed like this.
What can you attribute to having one of the top-scoring teams in the league to this point?
Honestly, we've had to play high scoring to even compete in games. It's hard keeping opponents under 30 every game. And if you don't hold people under 30, you better be scoring 35 every single game. But if I had to attribute it to anything, I'd say it's the receivers, through their ability to create separation on pass plays, and their ability to block downfield on run plays.
Can you describe kind of the energy or the mood and the vibe in the building now coming in the home stretch?
I ain't gonna lie to you. Morale is low right now. 2 straight losses to inter-conference teams and a rough stretch coming up. I will say one thing. We're p*****. So morale might be low, but don't think we won't be the angriest team out on that field come every sunday.
