Can you talk about what it’s like to prepare to go against a player like Harold Perkins Jr.?
He's definitely a playmaker for his defense, like a young Patrick Willis. You've got to be able to identify him pre-snap at all times and make sure you know whether he's blitzing or dropping into coverage.
Which new player are you most excited about and why?
We're excited for first round pick Eric Singleton. There were signs from preseason that he could be a year 1 contributor to our offense, which would be a pleasant boost.
What were your primary goals for the team during the offseason?
The goal was to bring in a big name into the fold, and shack up some depth at spots like WR and DE. We were able to make that happen by signing Laremy Tunsil and a combination of other free agent signings and drafting.
