The keys to victory week is to play our game. Establish the run and create confusion in the secondary with lots of crossers and RPOs. Each week is a new challenge to get that job done. Drew Allar is doing a great job of finding the open man and making the throws. The defense is taking the ball away which is a great help.
Can you summarize what it was like playing against the Bills last week?
Bills are a talented team. Always a tough game as a division rival we see each other often. We have been able to come out victorious only when we can take away the first read and force Allen to find a new target. I enjoy the challenge of playing all my division rivals.
Can you talk about what it’s like to prepare to go against a player like Jalen Hurts?
Jalen is a playmaker in every sense of the word. He can make the throws and also burn you with his legs. I planned to force him to escape the pocket only to a direction I want him to go. Never an escape, only a flush. Preferably to his left.
