The team now has back to back wins, what could you attribute the recent success too?
We owe it all to Xfinity! It's been h*** trying to get guys they assignments, or even play back plays on the sidelines as our ATT partnership was a horrific experience. Being unable to communicate effectively with the press box or even the QB each play was terrible. We have those kinks ironed out now. It fun to see what these guys can actually do. Most of the success has been credited to Allar protecting the ball and the secondary being all over the field. Defense is not playing around this year.
Did you scout Malik Bryant before the draft? If so, what stood out about him?
Never heard of em. We scout players for this team and we don't "worry" about players on other teams. We set the tone for the game and force the other team to abandon whatever game plan they walked out of the locker room with. That's the tone all season.
How do you rank the biggest changes to this team over the off-season by importance? What do you think were the team's best moves? Was there anything you wish you would have done that didn't get to do?
Adding a couple defensive Superstars in free agency and in Draft was major. We had no superstars on defense on the roster! Great players but no superstars on defense would have set us up to struggle all season. With both a SS vet and rookie, the entire dynamic of the defense has changed.
