What were the key challenges posed by the Cardinals in your last game?
Determining the best method to handle the speed in the Arizona locker room was challenging. While we don't have a clear cut answer yet, one is absolutely in the works. The addition of Amari Cooper also made our life a little more difficult personnel wise.
In retrospect, what would you have done differently against the Cardinals?
Without giving too much away, there are some defensive adjustments we plan to make the next time Arizona rolls through. We also have to execute better in the redzone, particularly inside our opponent's 5 yard line, as we were stopped not once, but twice there.
What did you learn about your team’s capabilities from the matchup with the Cardinals?
I've learned that we have a very versatile unit that can adapt to just about any situation we find ourselves in. Whether that be blitzing/playing coverage on defense, or stretching the field with vertical shots and a strong running game, we believe we have the personnel to get the job done, even without Kenneth Walker.
