Jags defeated the Arizona cardinals 28-14 in a game that was fair sim do to conflicting schedules. Trevor Lawrence went 26/31 283 yard 2TDS and 1INT bringing Trevor Lawrence to 9 total TDS in past two weeks ever since their was rumors going around that he possibly could be going to bench Trevor Lawrence has stepped up in big way.
The resurgence of Trevor Lawrence from what film is showing is jags have been able to establish run game getting play action involved in play calling and also Trevor seems to be getting ball in those tight spaces where earlier in season he seemed hesitant to make. Thanks to play of offense and defense respectfully the team now sits at 5-5 with 7 games remaining back what does this mean.
siting at 5-5 the Jags currently are the 7th seed in AFC and their next 7 opponents are 38-36 where they will face Colts (4-7) who jags beat in first meeting, Panthers (7-3), @ Texans (8-3) Jags lost first game to them, Bucs (2-8), @ Falcons( 8-3), Dolphins (4-6), and Lastly Browns at (5-6). Good news is only two of those games are on road, bad news is neither on of these are easy wins and Jags will have treat every opponent like it is their Superbowl to even stay in the wild card hunt.
Jags are looking to be that underdog story that everyone wants to see win with a sub par roster and rookie head coach the Jags want to make noise in this last season and lets hope they continue to do so.
