PML 2023 Draft 1st Round Update
We now have hit the 4th quarter of the PML 2023 regular season. Let’s take a look at how the rookie class is performing in their first season in the NFL.

The prized jewel of the PML draft has the Lions fan base buzzing as a post season berth is in the balance. Detroit currently sits at 10-2 atop of the NFC North with a huge Week 15 matchup with division rival Minnesota Vikings looming which should decide the NFC North title.
2. Bryce Young QB Green Bay Packers

The dual threat Young has finally put it together in Green Bay following a slow start to the season. Packer nation is hoping the young signal caller can continue his solid play and lead them to a post season berth as they currently sit at 6-6 in contention for the last wild card spot in the NFC.
3. Bryan Bresee DT Kansas City Chiefs

Bresee the top defensive player off the board in the PML draft has struggled to make an impact this season only recording 1.5 sacks, as the Chiefs tough season continues as they sit at 2-10.

Johnson’s solid rookie season rolls on as he has stepped in and formed a solid 1-2 tandem with Jaire Alexander that has the Green Bay hopeful buzzing.
5. Julian Fleming WR Atlanta Falcons

The rookie has done a solid job so far ranking third on the team in yards as the Falcons sit at 7-5 and in the mix for a wild card berth.
6. KJ Henry LE Cleveland Browns

The rookie pass rusher out of Clemson numbers will not jump off the page, but his impact on the pass rush is evident as Myles Garrett is currently 2nd in the PML in sacks lining up on the opposite side of the defensive line.

Jones has done a great job filling in for Aj Terrell who was traded this off season. Jones is currently tied for 2nd on the team with 5 interceptions. Whenever this young man gets his hands on the ball watch out, as he has found the end zone 3 times on turnovers. Prime time???
8. Michael Penix QB Los Angeles Rams

Penix rookie season hasn’t been pretty. Turnovers have plagued the young signal caller through out. Smarter decision making will be necessary if this young man wants to stick around in the PML as the Rams currently sit at 3-9.
9. Myles Murphy LE Dallas Cowboys

Murphy the rookie out of Clemson, after a slow start has started to become more active along the defensive front for the Dallas Cowboys. If they hope to play in January, they must win out and this youngster must continue to contribute for Jerry’s boys.
10. Jadon Haselwood WR Pit Steelers

Haselwood has yet to make an impact for the Steelers in his rookie season. The receivers best game thus far was a 2 reception 44 yard performance in a Week 7 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals for the recently surging Pittsburgh Steelers who sit at 8-4.
11. Eli Ricks CB New York Jets

Ricks has been a bright spot for the New York Jets defense as he accumulated 8 Interceptions on the season but it hasn’t translated into victories as they sit at 4-7 in the tough AFC East.

The speedy tight end out of LSU has yet to make an impact this season. Gilbert found pay dirt in Week 1 with a 2 reception 22 yard performance, but has struggled to find a role in the Jaguars offense ever since.

Hampton has been phenomenal on the back end of the Texans secondary. The safety leads all rookies in tackles thus far, and has the Texans sitting at 7-5 in the playoff hunt.

Booth the cornerback out of Clemson University has come on as of late as he has now recorded 4 interceptions in his last 4 contests for the Broncos.
16. Baylor Cupp TE Dallas Cowboys

The tight end out of Texas A&M hasn’t made the big impact for the Cowboys thus far on the season but has shown glimpses. His most recent was a 4 Reception for 50 yard performance vs division rivals the Philadelphia Eagles.
17. Will Anderson LOLB Los Angeles Rams

The former Crimson Tide Anderson has been a disappointment thus far for the Rams. The top rated linebacker in the PML draft class best performance came in Week 5 when he recorded 5 Tackles and 2 Sacks in a 36-35 loss to division rival Seattle Seahawks.

The rookie Dent is 3rd on the depth chart but has made an impact when called upon. Look for him to get more playing time down the stretch as the Seahawks look ahead to the 2024 season.
19. Jordan Burch LE Detroit Lions

Burch has been spectacular for the Lions this season as he ranks in the top 10 in sacks with 9 on the season. Burch will need to continue his strong play if Detroit has super bowl aspirations.
20. Justin Flowe ROLB New Orleans Saints

Flowe has been one of the lone bright spots for the New Orleans Saints in an otherwise disappointing season. The young linebacker has shown a nose for the ball as he recovered 2 fumbles in a Week 6 matchup vs the Atlanta Falcons.

The youngster out of Texas A&M has yet to carve out a role in the Cardinals offense, but look for the speedster to make an impact in 2024.

The cornerback Steele has yet to make an impact thus far in the star studded secondary of the Ravens. Steele recorded 3 tackles in a Week 12 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals.

Crouch out of the University of Tennessee has been impressive in his rookie campaign as he mans the middle for a top 5 defense in New England.

Gray out of the University of Michigan has been a great addition to the WFT secondary thus far. His best performance was his last, a 2 interception game vs division rival Philadelphia Eagles.

Dean hasn’t been pressed into much playing time thus far for the 9-3 New York Football Giants. The rookie out of Georgia’s best performance has been a 2 tackle 1 forced fumble game in a Week 4 victory over the Miami Dolphins.

Wilmore the first running back off the board of the PML 2023 draft has been phenomenal. He currently ranks 6th in yards rushing and is 10th in rushing scores for the 6-6 49ers.
29. Mac Jones QB Cincinnati Bengals

The rookie out of Alabama has played limited snaps thus far for the Bengals but may see more time down the stretch as an audition for the 2024 season.

The Heisman Trophy winner Bowman transition to the bright lights of the PML has been an easy one thus far. The running back out of Florida has recorded 11 total TD on the season and will look to add some more in January for the Bills in their quest to repeat as PML champions.
31. Taron Vincent DT Minnesota Vikings

Vincent has been a non factor thus far on the 2023 season. Vincent sits behind and learns from one of the leagues best in Michael Pierce, for the 10-2 Minnesota Vikings.
