What are your thoughts about the Cardinals just in general as a team?
I don't have any thoughts about them because we didn't get to play them. Shoutout the fair simulation of Madden 25, please deliver us the win. Arizona is a hot state, though, lots of desert. I've been there once, I had a pretty good time just not really that unique. Besides the hiking, that was really cool. Bunch of different terrains and types of hikes, just wish it was a little sunnier when I was there, it was 70 which is low for Arizona, I think. But, yea no bad blood with the Cardinals hopefully we get to play them later in the cycle.
What were the key challenges posed by the Broncos in your last game?
They're pass rush was next level. I don't know if every single down was treated like a pass down for them but it felt they were consistently putting pressure and hands on Herbert before 2.5 seconds which is how most of our plays are timed. We should have adjusted earlier to a quick pass game and relied on the run as it worked so well. Our defense didn't even play bad, just got out to a bad start and the offense didn't give them a chance to make up for it.
In retrospect, what would you have done differently against the Broncos?
I would have stuck with the run, especially early, in a loud road environment. Adjustments were difficult, communication was difficult. At a certain point you have to change the gameplan and we didn't until it was far too late.
