How does the loss this week prepare you for the next game?
The loss versus the Bengals was a combination of factors. AJ Brown requested we get him 8 catches and 2 rushes so we game planed around this factor. Normally the game plan doesn't revolve around a certain player. The forcing the ball to AJ to make him happy resulted in reads that wouldn't have normally been forced. You mix this with Hurts missing open throws leads to an offense that couldn't score. The lesson learned here is that no matter what, no receiver is worth forcing the ball especially because after the game he demanded 100 catches and 20 rushes to end the season and when he was told no he demanded a trade and gave himself – 9 catching and -9 catch in traffic.
How much of a problem is Myles Murphy on the defensive line?
We have a lot of players rotating on the defensive line so Murphy doesn't get much playing time. When he does enter the game he has made a difference.
I want to ask you about the receiver position in general. How have you seen that position evolve in importance over the years and how does having a player like WR A.J. Brown sort of factor into that perspective?
His experience has mattered. He has grown into a diva who has personally sabotaged the team and himself because he didn't get his way.
