The trade deadline is this week. Should we expect any major moves for the team?
I don't believe so. We're 8-0 and I believe the team is great how it is. If there is any trade to be move it might be a small piece to just help bolster this roster to prepare for a superbowl run that we believe that we are on route for. But never say never we'll have to see what players pop up around the trade deadline.
What can you attribute to having one of the top-scoring teams in the league to this point?
Josh Allen has done an magnificent job piloting this offense down the field and protecting the ball for the most part until this week. Without him it's hard to recreate the success we have. Kincaid and Shakir have definitely put their foot on the gas and have taken huge leaps that we didn't think they were ready for this early in their career. Cannot stress how good and hard these players have been working to make sure that when we go out there we are leaving everything on the field.
Over your career, what makes a team better at not turning the ball over as the season goes along? What kind of things you need to emphasize? How much of it is coaching? How much of it is a mental part? Physical part?
The biggest thing to me is communication. Being able to communicate and understand not only the play but the ability to know where your receiver is going to positioned during a route. We worked all preseason on just trying to fit the ball in certain windows that defenses cannot prepare for and so far that has been working out for us.
