Chicago Bears Offseason Preview

pThe Chicago Bears are up next for their offseason preview. They finished the season with a 6-11 record, but the season was really a tale of two halves. The first half of the season the Bears looked like a playoff team with Caleb Williams playing at an MVP level, but later in the season Williams started to struggle before he was eventually injured. Williams finished his rookie year with 4437 yards, 41 TD, and 30 INT. DJ Moore, Cole Kmet, and Rome Odunze were a three headed monster as receiving weapons, nearly finishing with 1000 yards each. The defense was great yardage wise, but was middle of the pack in terms of scoring. The Bears are a talented team that I think will see a lot of roster movement this offseason as they look to recapture their early 2024 season form.

Offseason Summary:
The Bears have a young roster that should be on the rise in the next few seasons. There are plenty of young players that could be a part of their future, or could be replaced in the draft. Seeing where the Bears spend their draft picks will be very interesting. Do they try to retool their defensive line? Do they make the supporting cast around Caleb Williams even better? Are they satisfied with their players at WR and CB? Only time will tell but the Bears will be a team to watch this offseason for sure. I expect the Bears to be active in the trade market to shape the team more to their liking, and with a QB on a rookie contract they could look to make a splash in free agency as well.
