Buffalo Bills:
Khalil Shakir had a great season last year, and Keon Coleman had a solid season last year, but how much do you trust either of those guys against a top tier CB? Kincaid is a weapon at TE but I think they could add a top tier outside threat in this draft and complete this elite passing offense with Josh Allen at the helm.
Denver Broncos:
Marvin Mims looks like he will be a good #2 WR for the future, but I would still look to add a top guy in this draft. Bo Nix had a great rookie season and looks like the franchise QB in Denver. The team needs a lot of help on defense, but a few moves on offense and I could see this unit being one of the better ones in the league.
Cleveland Browns:
Jeudy is another solid #2 and Wandale Robinson can be a gadget slot gut, but losing Amari Cooper means that they don’t have that go-to guy on 3rd downs. We also do not know who will be the QB for season 2, but whoever it is would benefit from bringing in a new WR in the first two rounds.
Las Vegas Raiders:
Brock Bowers will for sure be the top receiving option in this offense. They have some solid deep threats in Tyquan Thornton and Danny Gray. The Raiders have a lot of draft capital in the early rounds to take whoever they like at the WR position and build a very deep weapons group for their rookie QB or Joe Milton.
Seattle Seahawks:
After trading away Metcalf the Seahawks went from maybe the best WR trio in the league to needing a #1 target again. JSN can be your short yardage and YAC guy, but who knows how much Tyler Lockett has left in his tank. I am sure the Seahawks have a plan and reason for trading away DK, now we have to see what it is.
A new #2:
Arizona Cardinals:
The Cardinals have their clear #1 guy in Marvin Harrison Jr, and a good TE in Trey Mcbride, but no other receiving threats besides them. Kyler can get it done for you at QB, but you need to help him out and get him more options to throw to. There are rumors that the Cardinals are looking to trade up in the draft to maybe take two players in the first round to address both sides of the ball.
Washington Commanders:
We know the Commanders want to throw the ball, but outside of Terry Mclaurin the offense really doesn’t have anyone to throw to. McLaurin is aging as well. The Commanders have two first round picks after trading Jonathan Allen and could very well take a WR in the first round if one falls to one of their picks.
Dallas Cowboys:
Ceedee Lamb is one of the top 5 receivers in the league, but they don’t have any other threats besides him. Now than Brandin Cooks is gone it is time to help out Trey Lance and build the offense around him. The rest of the roster is still super solid so they do not have to spend resources elsewhere and can fill out their needs.
Atlanta Falcons:
Drake London had a great season one, and Kyle Pitts is still a top TE in the game, but no one else is requiring attention through the air. The Falcons are now low on draft capital after trading for Sauce Gardner, so it may be difficult for them to add a top prospect to this offense.
Carolina Panthers:
Xavier Legette had an amazing rookie season, but no one else on this roster is even remotely close to where he is as a player. I don’t think we see the Panthers spend a super high draft pick on a WR, but at some point in this draft a physical freak WR will be going to Carolina, maybe to pair with a new QB.
Pittsburgh Steelers:
They Steelers may not need a new #1 WR, but they could be getting one if they take Travis Hunter #1. Pickens can be your top guy if needed, but I think he will be relegated to the #2 role, which you are completely fine with as a coach. p
