Seattle Seahawks hold the #5 pick where the team could go anywhere with the pick if they wanted to everything is on table lets discuss what players could be part of the 12th man come rookie mini camp.
Tetairoa McMillan WR Arizona- being 6’5 makes a lot things in life easy and playing wr is one of them when nobody can out jump you. This pick would definitely make DK trade look nicer on eyes but McMillan does not have Metcalf speed, but there was another 6’5 WR who didn’t have top end speed about decade ago who is now a future HOF and that was Mike Evans. That’s who i think McMillan will be is a Mike Evans 2.0.
Travis Hunter WR/CB Colorado- Its very Unlikely Hunter falls to 5 but we have seen crazier things in draft. What more can you say about Travis Hunter dude is baller and loves football with every inch of his being. Travis hunter pro comparison is his college coach Deion Sanders. Which ever position Hunter decides to play he will be in my eyes automatic pro bowler. Travis is the one player in this class that is CAN’T MISS PROSPECT.
Luther Burden III WR Missouri- Luther is arguably best Wr of this class from his route running to shiftiness you can’t go wrong with this pick. Luther only downside was in college against better teams of sec and other power 4 schools were able eliminate him from games due to him being only threat on Missouri offense at certain points through the year. I believe Luther will succeed in any system but to get most out of him you cant expect him come in be a #1 right away id have him be #2/ slot wr which currently seahawks are looking for. Pro comparison is Chris Godwin
Will Johnson CB Michigan- With Seahawks trading Witherspoon away for Garrett Wilson i wouldn’t be surprised if seahawks would go defense here to replace him. Will Johnson was key part in that historical Michigan defense that won the National championship. Will Johnson i arguably best corner in this draft and he can succeed being teams top defensive back out gate in my opinion. Will’s savviness to find ball, tackle and keep wrs Infront of him is not traits all dbs have right away coming out of college. Pro Comparison Patrick Surtain
James Pearce Jr DL Tennessee- This guy is freak of prospect 6’5 243 pounds and comes off the line like bat out of h***. Seahawks could go with James due to lack of pass rush team had last season i believe James would be #1 pass rusher in more than half of NFL Locker rooms right now as long James keeps working he will be up there will Myles Garrett and Watts of the NFL dude is animal. NFL Comparison JJ Watt
