Eagles Injury Update

The preseason and week one has been full of injuries for the Eagles. I wanted to give everyone a quick update on who is on the current injury report.

DT Jordan Davis 85 OVR

Injury: Torn Labrum (3 weeks)

This was a huge injury that came early in the game in week 1. Davis played all season last year and earned himself a development trait. It’s a shame to lose a dominant player like him and it’s going to be even worse if this is the reason he loses his development trait at the end of the season. This is a huge loss that will make us move Carter inside. I wanted to focus on dominating pressure from just four lineman this season but that plan is already ruined.

HB Nick Singleton HB 74 OVR

Injury: Abdominal Tear (1 Week)

Singleton got hurt in the third preseason game on a play that he shouldn’t have even been in on. It resulted in a four week injury and he missed week one and will miss week 2 as well. Barkley got hurt in week 1 for half the game so having Singleton will be key in times like that.

RE Dani Dennis Sutton

Injury: Abdominal Tear (1 week)

Just like Singleton, Suttons injury was in the third preseason game as well. He got hurt by nature of just playing the game and I feel his injury was the reason that he was the only rookie on the team to not get a development trait. He will be useful as a backup when he comes back and could have been used as a DT with the injury to Davis.
