WELCOME to week 2 of OnlyFans! A series for the fans by the fans.
First and foremost, we need to talk about Luther Burden. After going an absurd speed in a school zone, he received a 4-game suspension from the PML and lost his license from the state of Pennsylvania. Thankfully he cannot speed anymore and rookie WR Elic Ayomanor will be driving him to and from practice/games. Not the best way to start your career but we’re excited to see him in week 5.
Week 2 was our first battle versus the division rival Ravens. While the Ravens haven’t exactly found their footing last season or the beginning of this one, we always know it’s a battle. In games like these it’s obvious the players have a little extra juice to them. The offense looked rough as Fields threw his first INTs of the season (2) but tacked on a couple TDs as well. Najee and Cooley really didn’t get going at all. This win is attributed to the defense forcing 6 INTs from Lamar Jackson. Yes, I said 6. It is worrisome that after forcing 6 INTs we only won by 7 points and it took a game sealing INT by Minkah (he had 3 on the day, he will now be referred to as Daddy Minkah until further notice). In what SHOULD have been a blowout we escape a hard-fought contest in Baltimore. Week 1 our offense puts on a clinic, week 2 the defense does work. Can we put it together in week 3 vs Chicago?
From the outside looking in, it does not look like this roster is built for a Superbowl. Fields looks better but better than absolute hot garbage is just regular ole garbage. Najee in his first game back did NOT look great. The WR core is really missing Burden and who knows how he’ll play. The defense is supposed to be the strong suit of this team but has struggled early. I think coach Jake can get this team to the playoffs as a wildcard seed. At the end of the day its not about how you start but how you finish! (Pause)
