After an impressive freshman season in 2023, where he was named CUSA Freshman of the Year and a Freshman All-American, Richard built on his success. In 2025, he led his team’s secondary with 68 tackles, four interceptions, and two forced fumbles, solidifying himself as one of the top safeties in Conference USA. By his final college season in 2026, he had emerged as a true defensive leader, earning First-Team All-CUSA honors with 75 tackles, five interceptions, and a pick-six in a rivalry game that sealed his team’s bowl victory.
