How does the loss this week prepare you for the next game?
We realized that our secondary is not where we would like it to be. So therefore in practice, we know exactly what to work on. We also had a big struggle with getting to the quarterback and applying pressure. If we can’t get pressure, it makes it a whole lot harder on the secondary. This week we will drop some blitzes and try to make the quarterback uncomfortable.
Can you talk about what it’s like to prepare to go against a player like Oscar Delp?
We don’t know who the h*** Oscar Delp is. I’m gonna be very honest with you. We are not worried about Oscar Delp at all. This is a division rival a team that we know very well focusing on one player will have us in bad shape. Our goal is to stop them from scoring touchdowns to score more touchdowns than they do.
How has Marshon Lattimore’s experience in the league helped the team so far?
Lattimore is a veteran. I expect him to get out of this slump and have a much better game. I may allow him to work at the slot cornerback position so that he can use his experience in awareness to make place.
