Dev-Gen Recap; Who is the Dev-Gen King?

pIt has been 23 weeks since Dev-Gen began granting awards to the coaches in PML this cycle. Dev-Gen has a particular algorithm that favors those coaches in the league that participate in all facets of the league. Dev-Gen takes into consideration how active a coach is in the chat, how often they submit a sim score, how often they submit content, ect. Dev-Gen is an exciting aspect of the league that just about every coach in PML looks forward to on advance day. We are going to take a look at which coaches Dev-Gen has favoured more in the past 23 weeks and if the algorithm lines up with those coaches that participate and contribute more content to the league or if it is truly random.p

pThere have been a total of 69 awards handed out by Dev-Gen; 38 of them have been content points, 27 of them have been attribute points, and 4 of them have been dev boosts. The New York Giants and the Washington Football Team received the highest amount of content points (40) given out at one time. Multiple teams have received the highest amount of attribute points (10) given out at one time, however, the Indianapolis Colts were the only team awarded with ‘5 O-line 3 attribute points each.’ Dev boosts were the outlier as there were only four teams that received that award. The Pittsburgh Steelers won Dev-Gen 8 different times whereas the Broncos, Eagles, and Jaguars have yet to win Dev-Gen at all. Coach Nef and the Pittsburgh Steelers produce a lot of content for the league and he has been awarded handsomely by Dev-Gen. Coach Nef has a specific series for his own team, is a host of ‘The Breakfast Show,’ is the only coach so far to submit team specific scouting reports via the PML Website, and is very active in the PML Chat. For those teams that have not won Dev-Gen or if you are a coach that is looking to win more often, you should consider all of the activities explained above and best of luck to all of the coaches in PML and in the coaching carousel this season. p
