This order may look very odd to people. However, Detroit added two new WRs to their offense. They traded for speedy WR Cameron Batson. The Lions also signed Steven Sims off of FA, who is another good young receiver with some speed. Tyler Boyd was the WR1 for this team last season, but with his contract year coming up along with his age. It seems like Detroit wants to go another route. It looks like they want to develop the young WRs and maybe have Boyd step in for the playoffs if they make it. I expect a HUGE year from Garrett Wilson. He made the Pro Bowl and was the best performing receiver on this team last season. It will be cool to see what this young man can do moving forward.
