I will be predicting one future superstar per team and to make it more interesting and more of a hot take, only normal dev players are eligible. No choosing Cam Ward who got scammed at just star dev or an early to mid-round rookie RB getting spammed.
AFC
Colts: QB Anthony Richardson
Greeny is reunited with Jonathan Taylor, but the real story is Anthony Richardson. The Colts have youth and talent at skill positions, the defense has guys who can make plays and are already stars. This is the prototype quarterback that every PML player wants to have. If he gets extended, QB Blast and enough passing touchdowns will make AR the demon he can be.
Titans: 2026-2027 Rookie WR
This team really isn’t anything special OR anything that bad at all. They have pieces all over on both sides of the ball, but a little thin and weak at wide receiver so that’s where I think Tennessee goes and gets a real playmaker. Doc is back and in a tough division and conference where he needs guys who can get open. The Titans defense is atrocious my lord, maybe Jeffery Simmons can put the team on his back.
Jaguars: CB Jarrian Jones
The offense is pretty set at every starting position besides tight end and maybe quarterback, but the tight ends aren’t worth building. This was honestly the hardest one to pick of all 32 teams because they either have decent defensive pieces or guys who will never be anything. That being said, Ke is a special defensive user and a young, speedy corner like Jones can be built by him for sure if Travis is getting used heavily on offense
Texans: 2026-2027 Rookie TE
Just like Jacksonville, Houston is set up really well on offense, except for tight end down the line. They have some buildable linebackers and maybe a corner that could get turned into a playmaker, but Casper is a passing guy who isn’t necessarily doing more with less on defense, so I see him snagging a tight end and completing an offensive powerhouse of a roster. Casper is going to be locked in trying to keep up and beat Ke and the Jaguars.
Browns: WR Isaiah Bond
This would be Shedeur Sanders, but I don’t think Spdot is going to use him after this season. He can draft a better prospect than where he’ll end up after season one. However, Bond will benefit from all the positive passing in Cleveland. I think he can be just as good as when he was a Jet and an X-Factor. I also lowkey think he’ll get Harold Fannin Jr off and running to superstar, too. Dot doesn’t really develop defense like that, except for Dallas Turner last cycle, but he has a deep defensive back room this year.
Bengals: HB Chase Brown
I’m surprised to see them at 0-3, but this feels like a slam dunk to be a future superstar. He’s young, athletic, and has basically no competition to be the workhorse back. Surrounded by a sured up passing game, Z can give Brown ample touches and build him into a superstar back that competes with any draft demon from JT’s classes. As long as Jamarr Chase and Tee Higgins don’t take too many yards and touchdowns.
Ravens: SAM LB Teddye Buchanan
The Ravens offense is so scary deep I just don’t think there’s room for these guys to develop even though they could elsewhere. Mark has so many young stars all over, but this athletic linebacker who spells his name like an idiot has a good chance to be unaccounted for and blow up plays. Starting next to Trenton Simpson and Roquan Smith hopefully pays off.
Steelers: EDGE Nick Herbig
It could be a future quarterback in Pittsburgh that replaces Aaron Rodgers or one of the younger speedsters like Roman Wilson or Calvin Austin III, but I think the CPU is gonna get to work on defense, it rarely builds offense like a real user, although a replacement could get them going. This front line is real scary and aggressive so when Herbig gets on the field, it should be 1 on 1 every time.
Chiefs: FS Bryan Cook
Kansas City is set up thoroughly on offense with speed and talent that rivals any other team, so this user is gonna need to develop the defense to be a complete team. The Chiefs have talent like Chris Jones and Trent McDuffie to help a bunch of other skilled stars and I can see Cook riding that wave and putting up impressive stats.
Chargers: WR Quentin Johnston
I’m not so sure this new user, Sweat, will last even a full season, but Johnston is a lock to develop if he sticks around. He’s a very pass-heavy user on a team that features young stars all around, and the still youthful yet physically dominant normal Johnston. He has 4 more speed than last cycle, where he was able to exist as a superstar consistently.
Raiders: 2026-2027 Rookie QB
This team is full of great players and guys that should be free agents, a true dichotomy in Las Vegas. Beast has the skill to effectively use his talent and their athleticism, but I’m honestly unsure if it’s possible beyond year one Geno Smith. The Raiders will find a new quarterback and he has the team around him to grow.
Broncos: WR Troy Franklin
Maybe if Pat Bryant wasn’t 85 speed he’d make Franklin irrelevant, but that isn’t the case and I think Fallen can do what he does best with speed and develop Franklin into a superstar. Bo Nix and the RJ Harvey can complete the young trifecta and make Denver a scary team on offense. Fallen is really hit or miss on defense, but more than that I just don’t see anybody worth developing. Maybe Channing Tindall on a one year FA draft contract or Kris Abrams-Draine, but Tindall won’t make the plays and Abrams-Draine won’t see the field enough with the talent ahead of him.
Jets: TE Mason Taylor
Lowkey got scammed being just normal dev as an early second round tight end that’s just 21 years old, but Arod is off to a solid start and Taylor is the kind of piece I believe he can build. Quarterback is a long-term question but the receivers and running backs should attract enough attention to free up Taylor.
Dolphins: HB Jaylen Wright
I’m not entirely sure what’s going on in Miami with Jonny being Missing In Action taking that MIA to heart for the Dolphins. Achane is there and elite, but Wright is another young speedster that can be built and make this offense more dynamic. Tyreek Hill is aging and Tua Sucks, but a three headed demon of Wright, Waddle, and Achane is nice.
Patriots: SS Craig Woodson
In a perfect world, this is Kayshon Boutte shout myself and Nef, but alas Puffy is a solid user but isn’t a Boutte supremacist. The offense has quality, young stars across the board and the defensive front 7 is less than ideal to develop themselves. Woodson should be a starting safety in New England and the elite corners should get him thrown at enough to make some plays.
Bills: WILL LB Dorian Williams
Simply put, this is one of the best offenses to have in Madden. It could use an alpha wide receiver one, but it’s the defense that has the superstar sleepers. The defensive line is star studded, and I think the young speedy linebacker has a good chance to take advantage if JP can user him well and blitz him occasionally.
