1. Philadelphia Eagles (3-0, +3): The new #1 has some people asking if it was a mistake to give this user the Eagles. The Eagles are the most popular knockout pick this week for a reason. The pass game is strong, the run game is stronger, and the defense is #1 in both yards and points allowed. Right now this team is a train, and is running over everyone on the tracks.
2. Jacksonville Jaguars (4-0, +3): A statement game against a good user with a good team was showed this week. The Niners may have been 1-2 at the time of the game but with how good the team is you cant overlook them. Ke not only didn’t overlook, he dominated them. Lawrence is looking like the generational talent we all thought he could be and the defense is showing that they are one of the best in the league in stopping the pass. The 0-4 Chiefs are next and I don’t see them stopping this win streak.
3. Chicago Bears (4-0, +3): If you want to take down the Bears, be prepared to score in the 40-50pt range, otherwise its a lost cause. This team puts up points at will averaging 45ppg while rocking the #2 passing attack in the league. They head into a week 5 bye before a week 6 showdown in Washington D.C.
4. Denver Broncos (3-0, +3): The Broncos are off to a hot start, undefeated behind Bo Nix’s 1,042 passing yards and R. Harvey’s 5 rushing TDs. Engram has been a steady target, and the defense is getting plays from Bonitto and Singleton. As of now, Denver hasn’t played this week, so no new updates but the Bengals and Eagles are on deck.
5. Seattle Seahawks (4-0, +3): Yeah, CB is cooking right now 4-0, leading the division, and doing it with balance. Jalen Milroe’s got 1,152 yards and 10 TDs through the air, but what makes this team scary is the ground game — Walker, Milroe, and Charbonnet all over 140 yards already. Add in Cooper Kupp and JSN both flirting with 300 yards receiving, and the offense looks unstoppable. Defense isn’t elite but getting just enough stops, Witherspoon already has 2 INTs. They bullied the Cardinals last week and now face the Bucs — momentum fully on their side.
6. Washington Commanders (3-1, -4): An unexpected loss before heading on vacation for the Quemanders drops them down 4 spots, and perhaps even further if he misses more time. The Commanders starting 3-0 has to feel very important now, as their next few weeks could be rocky. If Que can come back and play how he was the first 3 weeks, this team should still be in the playoffs.
7. Arizona Cardinals (3-1, -4): Even after taking their first loss, the Cards sit 3-1 with the #1 offense in the league at 491 ypg. Kyler’s locked in with 1,647 yards and 19 TDs already, spreading it around to McBride (637 yds, 9 TDs) and Marvin Harrison Jr. (431 yds, 4 TDs). The run game hasn’t been as consistent (86 ypg, 20th), but when you’re throwing for 405 ypg, who cares? Defense giving up 40 ppg is the only concern, but as long as the offense keeps rolling, they’re dangerous.
8. Houston Texans (3-1, +1): The Texans continue to close out these close games and are staying at the top of the league with the Jaguars. Stroud out dueled the rookie Ward in this one throwing for 5 touchdowns. The passing offense is one of the best in the league, however, will it be the defense that ultimately holds this team back? They are close to last in the league in stopping the pass and it could cost them a playoff spot if it isn’t fixed in the future.
9. Los Angeles Chargers (2-1, +1): Herbert has been lights out with 16 TDs in three games, spreading the ball to Allen, Conklin, and Johnston. The defense has forced 6 INTs already, led by Derwin James and Henley. The Chargers haven’t played yet this week either, so all eyes are on their matchup with the Giants before a big divisional test against Washington.
10. New England Patriots (3-1, +2): Here comes the AFC East, with back to back teams at 10 and 11. After dropping their week 1 game the Patriots have strung together three wins in a row. They face a big division battle this upcoming week against the Bills, but if they can keep running the ball the way they have with Treveyon Henderson, they could find themselves at 4-1 with a 2-0 division record.
11. New York Jets (3-1, +2): Another AFC East team with 3 wins in a row after dropping their opener. The Jets have found their formula, run game and defense. Fields is involved in the run game as a decoy and as a ballcarrier. As long as they Jets keep the game close, they have been able to make the winning plays at the end.
12. Minnesota Vikings (2-1, +2): I am just not sold that the Minnesota Vikings are legitimate contenders in the NFC. Prove me otherwise. On a side note, has anyone seen Justin Jefferson? The 99 overall stud WR doesn’t even crack the top 3 on his own team in receiving.
13. Green Bay Packers (2-1, +2): A big win versus Spdot and the Browns became a bit watered down when their divisional peers over in Detroit did it the following week as well. The jury is still out on Cruz as we determine whether or not he will be able to compete with the big boys of PML.
14. Cleveland Browns (2-2, -13): A 13 spot plunge sends Sp and the Cleveland Browns outside the top 10 after back to back losses to the Packers and Lions. Is it time to hit the panic button yet? Could the AFC North actually be up for grabs this season? Lets give it a couple more weeks before we prematurely come to any conclusions.
15. Indianapolis Colts (2-2, -4): Weeks fours’ 38-31 loss is the same score that they won in week 1 with. Ironically 38/31 have been the final points in all Colts games minus the loss in week 2. Its nice to stay in games but you have to close them out. Richardson is proving that he doesn’t have the clutch ability to win his team the game and the Colts may want to look for a more accurate quarterback if they want to keep up with their division mates in the south.
16. Baltimore Ravens (2-2, +7): The Ravens are picking up momentum of late as Mark scooped up two straight victories, more than likely 3 before heading into their bye week 6. Lamar had a monster game against KC week 4, throwing for 4 touchdowns and rushing for 72 yards and a score. These are the type of games Lamar will need if the Ravens will be considered contenders in the AFC.
17. Buffalo Bills (2-2, +1): The Bills are coming off of a dominant 38-3 win over the Saints. They have some winnable games coming up on the schedule, including a battle with the 1st place Patriots this week. If the Bills run defense continues playing the way they have they may be in trouble, but if they can improve that, they can force teams to beat them with the pass, which teams haven’t been able to do yet
18. Pittsburgh Steelers (1-2, +1): Welcome back DK as he is named the new coach of the Pittsburgh Steelers. This will be a fun division to watch all cycle to say the least. Will he ride out Aaron Rodgers the rest of the season, or will DK look to begin grooming his QB of the future? Big decisions in the Steel City but ill say this, they better get the rushing game going as their leading rusher through 3 games is Aaron Rodgers with 37 yards.
19. Detroit Lions (1-3, +12): Huge win against the Browns pumps some life into Nef and the Lions early in the season. Jahmyr Gibbs led the way with 178 yards on 20 carries. If Jared Goff could remain a game manager, and Gibbs continues to run wild, this may be just what the doctor ordered to keep the Lions in the playoff conversation this year.
20. Atlanta Falcons (2-2, +11): Who would have had the Falcons giving the Commanders their first loss of the season. Those who choose the Commanders in knockout were surprised at this result. This game was opposite of what we all thought as Penix was the better quarterback in this one. Daniels was so bad after throwing 4 interceptions that he was taken out of the game for Mariota. Has the Commanders offense been figured out or was this just a one off game? Either way it was a great win for the Falcons who proved they had what it takes to beat a playoff contender. Mores wins like this will easily have them as the division winner come seasons end.
21. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1-2, -4): The hot start the Buccaneers got off to has cooled down and as off this moment it may get worse. They face off against the red hot Eagles but have a chance to bring about the funniest parody in the league if they can win this one. If they lose they go down in the standings and let the Falcons overtake them. They cant afford to continue losing if they want any shot at the division crown.
22. Las Vegas Raiders (1-3, -6): The Raiders are riding a 3-game skid, falling to both the Commanders and Bears in back-to-back weeks. Despite a strong ground attack led by Jeanty with 381 yards and 5 TDs, turnovers and defensive lapses have killed momentum. The passing game is bottom tier at 222 ypg (30th), leaving the Raiders searching for answers as they prepare for a tough matchup against the Colts.
23. Tennessee Titans (1-3, -4): The good news is none of these losses have been blowouts, the bad news is that doesn’t matter in the long run, a loss is still a loss. The Titans are a middle of the pack team in every statistic and have to show something different if they want to close out these games. Ward is on pace to lose his development trait and that is something that cant happen if you want to get the best development possible. This division is tough so the turnaround has to happen quickly if want a shot to compete.
24. New York Giants (1-2, -3): The Giants picked up their first win last week, but look to have a gauntlet schedule coming up soon. If they can manage to stay around .500 through week 8, they could potentially go on a second half run. For now, they will have to focus on beating some rosters that are more talented that theirs.
25. San Francisco 49ers (1-3, -5): Sitting at 1-3 and on a 2-game skid, and getting beat down by the jags has got Antdawg reeling. Purdy’s slinging it with 1,294 yards, but just 8 TDs to 6 INTs is holding the offense back. CMC still doing his thing (223 yds, 3 TDs), but the run game is ranked 25th in the league. Defense has playmakers like Fred Warner with 2 INTs and 14 tackles, but giving up 34 ppg means they’re fighting uphill every week.
26. Dallas Cowboys (1-2, -4): The Dallas offense has been great, but they may have the worst defense in the league. They are allowing 43 points per game, and are definitely feeling the loss of Micah Parsons. The bright side is, the defense can’t get any worse, so if they offense stays hot they can certainly string some wins together.
27. Miami Dolphins (1-3, -1): The dolphins are coming off of a 3 game stretch against division opponents, going 1-2. The offense really has no spark, which is surprising because the weapons are the only good part about this team. They need a win this week badly against the Panthers, before this schedule starts to get more difficult.
28. Cincinnati Bengals (0-3, -4): I mean for being 0-3, the Bengals are still just 1.5 games out of first so that is the good thing right now. The bad news is, Joe Burrow doesn’t seem like Joe Burrow as he continues to struggle early (3td/7int). Can Z pick it up in time before the season folds? For once, I’m going to say the odds are stacked against him.
29. Los Angeles Rams (1-3, +1): Yeah, Frozen finally got on the board with a close dub over the Colts, but this Rams squad still looks shaky. Stafford sitting just under 1K yards with 7 TDs, Ferguson leading the way at 289 yards, but the run game is basically on vacation only 149 yards on 52 carries for Kyren. Defense giving up 36 a game isn’t helping either. Next week’s matchup with the 49ers might just decide who stays alive in the division race or who sinks straight to the basement.
30. New Orleans Saints (0-4, -4): Another rough game for the Saints this week. The blowouts are always rough to see but sometimes their are positives. This one had no of those. The offense did only have 2 turnovers but the 6 punts equaled the same thing. You have to find something your excited about playing on this team and when that happens the turnaround should come. The rookie Shough did come into this game and while he didn’t have the best game, maybe he is the best choice going forward. Get him some reps and see what he can do before the end of the season.
31. Carolina Panthers (0-4, -3): The defense has to help out the offense in Carolina. Scoring 36/37 points should be enough for you to win some games but giving up an average of 38 points its like you have to score on every play to win. Young is playing pretty well this season so you cant blame him or the offense really. The defense has only 1 sack and 0 interceptions. You cant win games like that and something will need to change scheme wise or we will see the Panthers at the top of the draft at the end of the season.
32. Kansas City Chiefs (0-4, -3): The Chiefs are officially in free fall, dropping four straight to open the season. The offense is sputtering at just 21 ppg (32nd) and Mahomes’ 7 TDs can’t cover up the lack of balance — the run game sits at only 89 ypg (17th). Back-to-back losses to the Giants and Ravens sting, and with the undefeated Jags looming next, things might get uglier before they get better.
