pThe Giants defense is filled with a lot of young players with potential. One of those players is second year player Deonte Banks. Banks is 24 years old, 6’2, 94 speed, 97 acceleration, and 96 jumping. He has the perfect physical traits to be a true number one corner in this league. The issue is he isn’t anywhere he needs to be in his development for a number one pick. His play rec and awareness are low, while his coverages in the low 70s need a lot of work. This is why he was playing slot corner for the Giants defense. p
pCoach Burn thought it best to develop him in the slot then move him when he was ready. He played well in the slot, earning himself a development game. He was able to get the required statistics and went to superstar development. His ability earned so far resulted in being able to play any other position and not take a penalty for it. This gave coach Burn an idea. Although he only has 66 catching and 75 catch in traffic, what if he was mixed in on offense to throw a defense off. p
pCoach Burn has tossed this idea around and has strongly considered doing this in future games. So far in practice mode, Banks has caught the ball well with minimal drops. His speed has been noticed and if the defense doesn’t take account for him then big plays are there to be made. His superstar trait will quicken his development and hopefully at the end of the season this trait isn’t stripped away, p
