Here we go fellas, probably the most toxic article we have in a very long time. However, this will get the PML streets talking. This article features the top 5 most overrated users in PML from 3 ANONYMOUS PML Analysts. Just because I am putting this together, does not mean my input was used. The 3 PML Analysts here used all have their Master’s degrees in Journalism and have the credentials to make something like this. These 3 men have worked in ESPN for years fellas. Anyways, let’s get into this mess.
PML Analyst 3 Honorable Mentions:
Bills – Bubba:
“Bubba is nice and I’ve never beat him in pml but he’s always had a good roster to start along with an elite qb who has abilities or Gunslinger so I’d like to see him with a bottom 5 roster with a bottom 5 qb at some point to see where he really stacks up.”
Dolphins – Fallen
“Another solid coach who I’m 0-3 against in my Pml career but always has a talented roster to go along with ample speed which fits his gameplay that can be hard to stop at times. Let’s put fallen in New England or Pittsburgh where they have no true speed on the perimeter and see if he can still be that top 10-15 guy.”
Chargers – Z
“Z is one of the real homies in Pml and I’m not saying he’s overrated but for everybody to say he’s a top 5-7 user consistently I’d like to see him start off with worse rosters. I know he had the skins before the come up but being gifted teams like Lac or Min the last 2 cycles is a tad bit questionable and although he has a sb run and playoff wins with these 2 teams I would like to see more from a user with his potential.”

PML Analyst 1: Chiefs – DK
“DK is still new and has the best offense in madden, you can tell he knows what he’s doing but is the team propelling him more then he is. Felt similar when Wimmy first took over the Chargers and obviously proved himself though. DK can do the same, just need to see more of him before having him in the top 10 convo.”
PML Analyst 2: Chargers – Z
“A lot of folks view this man as a top 10 user, I don’t think he has been living up to the hype recently. Really tough start to the cycle for Z. However, he does have one playoff win from season 1. Since then, he unfortunately has not made much noise at all.”
PML Analyst 3: Colts – Codes
“For my final most overrated user I picked somebody that thinks they’re like that but aren’t instead of the way Pml views that user. Codes is cool people but as a madden player he’s very overrated and thinks too highly of himself. I consider him a b tier player but he views himself as an A tier/Top 7 guy which is clearly not the case. I love the way he talks s*** but to take over a top 3 highest rated team at the time and to not capitalize almost 15 games in is disappointing. Going .500 in the final 8 games last season and then starting the season 1-4 is not too hot for somebody that made a list where only 3-4 users are above you in the ENTIRE LEAGUE. Codes wouldn’t even be on this list if he didn’t talk so much but I love to see it and hopefully he can shake back because this cycle will be rough if he can’t find his way out of this slump. Codes is capable of being a top 12 coach in here at his best but needs to just hush put his head down and just work for these last 12 games.”

PML Analyst 1: Colts – Codes
“This is more based off how he feels about himself then how others view him. He said he was a top 8 PML player and has lost pretty consistently after being given a very good roster.”
PML Analyst 2: Colts – Codes
“If you looked at general chat and Midnight Madness, you would think Codes is a top 5 player in PML. However, he is not. Codes has placed way too much pressure on himself and has been folding before our very own eyes. He won a playoff game last season, but had a comfortable lead that Mole left him with. Now starting in Season 3, the man has lost to every single user he said he was better than. It looks like he has little to no chance of winning his division, and his trash talk has piped down a little bit since then. The Colts went from winning the AFC South last season to now being at the bottom. There is no surprise that the 1-win Colts made this list.”
PML Analyst 3: Bears – Bacon
“I know people think I might be picking on Bacon but it’s kind of the facts. Bacon is a solid madden player in the high b tier range at best in my opinion. He’s a nice guy so most of pml is nice to him but on the real he’s not as good as everybody thinks. He did have the Jets 2 cycles ago but from what I saw last cycle Bacon was an slightly above average coach at the most being given the cover athlete in Lamar along with being in a Jv division where you have the best team while already being the best user in that division. Bacon was dominant as he should be but he ended the cycle with no playoff wins and pretty much got his back blown out in every wild card matchup. Bacon hasn’t played much on ps5 and is playing on some Captain D’s Wi-Fi but from what I saw in his first 2 user games he need a TON of work. I do think Bacon is solid and can’t be slept on but his reputation in pml is a little off as everybody think he can compete with 95% of pml with any team in any division and I think that’s false. I think I’ll be proven correct as I don’t see Bacon making the playoffs at all this cycle, MAYBE season 5.

PML Analyst 1: Seahawks – Drama
“Somehow Someway people give him flowers occasionally and they are not deserved. Not a consistent enough winner, and makes questionable at best GM decisions.”
PML Analyst 2: Packers – Jefe
“As much as we love Jefe, we have to place this man on the list. He started off with arguably the best roster in the NFC and a top 3 one in all of Madden. It is hard to give credit to a user with a roster this dominant. He did what he had to do and made it to the Super Bowl in season 1 while no one else could match his roster talent. That is why the NFC Championship featured two of the best rosters in the NFC, the Rams and Packers. Next season, Jefe lost his division but still made the playoffs. He got bounced out by the best user in the NFC, the Eagles. A lot of people credit his success to his team, and so far, he is off to a rough start without SSXF QB Aaron Rodgers. You never know how overpowered Gunslinger is until you actually play with that team. A lot of the throws he could get away with in S1 and S2 are not there with Jordan Love. However, he still has Davante Adams and Aaron Jones to throw to. Two of the best weapons in PML. The main reason Jefe is not too high on this list is because he plays amazing defense. Which also can be a result of his roster, but you have to give credit where it is due. This team has around 8 superstar players total, and if anything, this is the season for Jefe to prove if he is overrated or not without Gunslinger.”
PML Analyst 3: Chiefs – DK
“Dk I’m going based of what I thought when I played him and what I see in certain games. Overall I do think Dk is a solid A-B tier type player but for this cycle it’s mostly his team carrying him. Dk has a scheme and knows his concepts but his team bails him out a good bit and that’ll happen often when you have three 99’s on the same team. There were times during our game when everything was boxed and then Mahomes lobs the ball 90 yards in the air over my 94 speed safety for 6, like what can you really do about that.. I don’t dislike Dk at all but the top 5 convo at times needs to be held to a minimum especially with a first round playoff exit to a .500 coach which is questionable. I would love to get my hands on the Chiefs roster as it would be pretty much unfair.”

PML Analyst 1: Cowboys – CEO
“Similar to DK, does CEO get propped up by consistently having the Cowboys roster. He’s made playoffs and has had some good records, but with that roster out the gate should have been a Super Bowl contender.”
PML Analyst 2: Rams – Que
“Que has always been viewed as a top 10 user and he holds himself to that type of standard. However, he has not lived up to this at all with one of the best launch rosters in the NFC. This team has two 99 overall players on the same defense, a superstar WR in Cooper Kupp, and solid players all around. No matter what he says, this is a d*** good team he was handed. In Season 1, Que delivered as expected and made an amazing run to the NFC Championship. Since then, he has not done much. In Season 2, he got knocked out in round one by a severely inferior roster in the Detroit Lions. In addition, Que lost his division to the Seattle Seahawks (without Russell Wilson). A division that everyone expected to be a cake walk for him. It seems that as the NFC rosters catch up to the Rams one, the more problems it causes for Que. In season 3, he is still struggling within his own division. He already got blown out by the Cowboys and WFT so far this season. For all of these reasons, he has to get onto this list. There is still time for him to back up his talk, let’s see if he does so.”
PML Analyst 3: Cowboys – CEO
“This was a tough decision and probably questionable to most but Ceo is top 2 for most overrated. Yes he’s dominated for the last 2 seasons but I think that has to do with extra time he puts in along with having a loaded cowboys roster and the fact that he had them last year meaning he knows that entire roster and every single weakness that comes with it. It’s hard to put Ceo on this list because he went 15-2 with the only 2 losses coming to the Nfc champ but after playing him for an entire cycle I know he’s good but not as good as the rest of the league portrays him. Ceo is a good guy and he’s quiet so I feel like him not really pushing any buttons on a day to day basis helps his standing. I just feel like starting with a roster of the Cowboys caliber goes a long way and I need to see more especially in season one while most teams are catching up. I will say I’ve never seen Ceo be this dominant but I need to see more come playoff time or potentially with a weaker roster before I give him all his flowers.”

PML Analyst 1: Packers – Jefe
“This is looking at Jefe time here as a whole. With the Jets, was never a contender, or close. With the Packers and Gunslinger Arod goes to the sb. Without arod struggles to run the same offense. It seems like a lot of his success came from the players and abilities around him. If he can make another run with Love at the helm he would prove this list wrong.”
PML Analyst 2: Cowboys – CEO
“This man far and away leads this list. If he does not have open holes to run through all game with Ezekiel Elliott, his offense looks very lethargic. None of his runs involve much stick skill other than running behind a top 5 offensive line. He has lots of trouble making reads in the passing game yet he is still seen as a top 5 user in PML. Anytime he plays a team with a good front 7, no matter the opponent skill level, it will give him problems. Our Bucs user is not seen as one of the best guys in PML but he is solid. You saw how close of a game he had with CEO. If you give CEO a bottom 5 roster he will not have nearly as much success as he does now. His defense is solid but not immovable. I just cannot see how someone can be seen as one of the best 5 users in the league with a one dimensional offensive and defensive scheme. (Power O and play cover 3) He is a good user, but in this list, we are keeping it real.”
PML Analyst 3: Packers – Jefe
“I like Jefe as a league member and he seems like a solid dude but on the virtual field I have a bunch of questions/ concerns. Last Cycle although he was in a h*** division with the worst team I never saw him show much fight outside of beating mike a few times and maybe that had something to do with no content points but I have no clue. If I’m not mistaken at any point last cycle did jefe win over 6 games in a season or have a shot at any sort of wildcard spot. Jefe has been much better this cycle with a much better roster, appearing in the SB season taking Mole down to the wire which was pretty impressive. In my opinion Jefe has played very well at times but he’s a little bit hyped up playing with Arod and that loaded roster. Jordan love is 8-8 as a started and Aaron Rodgers is 25-4 this cycle which tells you everything you need to know. I like Jefe but I see some of the same playstyle as last year with a difference maker at qb this time around which has changed life entirely. If Jefe can keep playing lights out defense and have Jordan Love carry them to a deep playoff run I’ll think differently.”
