There are bad losses, and then there’s whatever Coach Hd just went through. The Atlanta Falcons walked into Denver and got absolutely embarrassed. Coach Fallen and the Broncos didn’t just win. They humiliated Hd from kickoff to final whistle.
Nothing about the Falcons’ performance resembled a team that belonged on the same field. Coach Hd called one of the worst games in PML history. His defense looked allergic to tackling and his offense looked like it was being run off a YouTube tutorial from 2018.
Ty Chandler made it look like the Falcons had ten men on the field. Four carries. One hundred twenty four yards. Two touchdowns. That’s not a typo. That’s 31 yards per carry. Coach Hd’s defense had no angles no awareness no pride.
Bo Nix treated Hd’s secondary like a 7 on 7 drill. 191 yards three touchdowns and more time in the pocket than a surgeon in the operating room. Every read was open every deep shot hit and Hd just kept sitting in the same soft zone hoping for a miracle. Spoiler alert. It never came.
The Broncos offense piled up 443 total yards while the Falcons defense folded like a lawn chair. Coach Fallen ran his offense with complete control. Meanwhile Coach Hd looked lost. No adjustments no answers no pulse.
And it wasn’t just defense. Hd’s offense was somehow worse. The man went through three different quarterbacks and still couldn’t move the ball when it mattered. Every drive ended in disaster. His play calling was predictable his reads were late and his situational awareness was nonexistent.
At one point it felt like the Broncos were running practice drills just to stay loose. By the fourth quarter the only suspense left was whether Hd would rage quit or finish the game out of pride.
Coach Fallen didn’t just win a game. He ruined a reputation. Coach Hd talked like a contender but played like a rookie holding the controller upside down. If this was supposed to be a statement game the statement was clear. Coach Hd is not him.
The Falcons have a long season ahead. Coach Fallen and the Broncos made sure everyone knows exactly where they stand. And right now Coach Hd stands at the bottom.
