Award winners are constantly changing throughout the season. Injuries are always a concern and the constant pressure of not overusing an offensive target will be even more crucial this season in PML. We are going to predict who we think has the highest chance of winning one of the coveted awards at the end of the season and the XP and hopeful development upgrade that comes with it.
2022 PML MVP –
QB Lamar Jackson – Coach Kingke has vowed to user Lamar the right way after he was utterly destroyed last cycle. Lamar has a blazing 96 speed and while he doesn’t have escape artist, he does come equipped with ‘fast break’ and ‘quick draw.’ He is a dual threat quarterback with passing and rushing abilities. I expect Lamar to lead the league in rushing amongst all QBs and to be one of the top passers in the league. – Fallen
QB Josh Allen – TBruh has the most broken QB in the game and he will make sure we know it week in and week out. Expect huge numbers from Josh Allen. – Kingke
QB Josh Allen – Who else did you expect. Josh Allen has all the weapons he could ask for, but the again, he doesn’t need them cause he’ll do it all himself. I believe Tbruh will recreate his dominate M21 passing offense, but this time better than ever. Bills should be a AFC favorite and that will be on the back and arm of Josh Allen. – Bubba
2022 PML Coach of the Year –
Codes – The Buccaneers have one of the most stacked rosters in the league and they are tied with the most (8) ability players starting out. The NFC has a lot of the top players in PML from past cycles, but Codes is set up for success in season 1. Tom Brady may be old, but his abilities are among the best in the game. The Buccaneers also have a favorable schedule and while Codes may not win the Superbowl in season 1, i fully expect him to have one, if not, the best record and head into the playoffs with a first round bye. – Fallen
CEO – The NFC north is a gauntlet but Ceo always seems to rise to the occasion. – Kingke
Codes HC Tampa Bay Buccaneers – After a slow start, Codes showed in M22 he was up for a challenge through the entire cycle, while also creating content. In M23 he was rewarded with the Buccaneers, possibly the best S1 team in the game. With the division he is in, and the team he has, I believe Codes is in line for his own breakout season, and may dominate S1. The next step for Codes is a long playoff run… – Bubba
AFC Offensive Player of the Year –
QB Josh Allen – Tbruh has one of the most broken quarterbacks in the game. He may not have escape artist anymore, but he pacts a punch with the strongest arm in the game. “Quick Draw” isn’t as powerful as gunslinger, but it will help Allen get the ball out quickly. I expect Tbruh to have one of the most prolific passing offenses in PML and Josh Allen should lead the league in touchdowns and passing yards. – Fallen
HB Jonathon Taylor – Bubba knows how to exploit his players talents so what you think he gone do with JT? – Kingke
HB Jonathon Taylor – I may be a bit biased…BUT… Everyone knows JT has the talent to be among the best in the league, but he also has an elite offensive line led by All Pro Guard Big Q Nelson. He also is on a team that has question marks at a lot of key positions. And lastly he now has a head coach that people are questioning whether he is up to the task, can Bubba adjust from pass heavy Bills to run heavy Colts? OPOY JT thinks so. – Bubba
AFC Defensive Player of the Year –
DE Von Miller – “Edge Threat” is one of the most popular defensive abilities and the pass rush has intensified this Madden. I think Myles Garrett is in contention for this award, but I don’t think Vet is going to be able to dial up the same kind of pressure that Tbruh will. Von is on the decline after season 1, so if there’s anytime for him to come out the gate swinging, it’s now.
DB Xaven Howard – Que will know what to do with a shutdown corner. He will eat. – Kingke
LB Von Miller – There may not be a better roster in PML than the Buffalo Bills. This addition of Von Miller as an elite pass rusher to the #1 defense in the NFL is scary for opposing QBs. Von Miller could reach all time sack numbers with this defense + the prevalence of sacks in M23. Not to mention with TBruh leading the way Miller should be able to pin his ears back most the game while the Bills are up 30. – Bubba
AFC Offensive Rookie of the Year –
HB Dameon Pierce – Problem has a lot of work with this Texans’ offense, but he put a lot of work in his running game when he was the Patriots last cycle. Pierce isn’t going to blaze down the field with his 88 speed, but he is 224 pounds and will almost certainly break a few tackles before being brought down on every rushing attempt. He has 65 catching and 57 pass block, all the makings of a three down back. – Fallen
QB Kenny Pickett – AROD had no choice lol
HB Dameon Pierce – After an excellent preseason for the rookie back, Pierce could not have landed a better coach, as the Texans are now held by none other than Problem Wright. On a Texans offense devoid of many weapons, Pierce is in line to receive quite a workload as RB1 in Houston. – Bubba
AFC Defensive Rookie of the Year –
DB Derek Stingley Jr – Problem is likely going to start Stingley and why wouldn’t he? Stingley starts out at 77 overall with 93 speed, 92 acceleration, and with 78 man coverage. He’s the Texans’ fastest defensive back and I think Problem is going use him all over the field. – Fallen
DB Kyle Hamilton – KingKe has already stated the 6’4 rookie will be in sub and the animation Safeties gets will fill his stat line easy. – Kingke
LB Trayvon Walker – The #1 overall pick in Trayvon Walker is nothing short of an absolute freak. At 6’5 88 speed, HypeMike should have no problem hawking guys from sideline to sideline. Not to mention Walker can get to the QB with the best of them. – Bubba
NFC Offensive Player of the Year –
QB Tom Brady – The Buccaneers offense is set up to pass the ball and they have the perfect general to do that. Mike Evans and Chris Godwin are perfect outside receivers and Scotty Miller is a quick and speedy guy to reside in the slot. Pick your poison when trying to face this high powered offense. Tom Brady will lead the league in touchdowns in a last hoorah for another championship before he retires. – Fallen
QB Kyler Murray – Dloyd will find creative ways to use Kyler and make life h*** for every opponent. – Kingke
QB Dak Prescott – This one was not easy, but I feel like this season Jefe REALLY has something to prove. S1 Jefe with Aaron Rodgers was an all time great season, stop just short only by Mole in the SB. The rest of the cycle Jefe was relatively quiet. That all changes this season. Going from one elite to, to possibly an ever better team, Jefe will light the league up with an absolutely stacked Cowboys offense. I feel like this is a perfect of Coach, Roster, and Opportunity for Jefe to claim his first PML Super Bowl. – Bubba
NFC Defensive Player of the Year –
MLB Eric Kendricks – CEO has one of the best linebacker cores in the league with Kendricks, Za’Darius Smith, and Danielle Hunter. Kenricks has “Lurker” and “Mid Zone KO” and those are probably the two best abilities for a pass coverage linebacker. I would expect CEO to user Kendricks but even if he doesn’t, the KO ability will help him stand tall in the middle of the field. I think we’ll see Kendricks lead the league in interceptions among all linebackers. – Fallen
DE Aaron Donald – DK knows how to use great players. AD will AD. – Kingke
DE Aaron Donald – The reigning Super Bowl Champ and MVP doesn’t look to slow down anytime soon unless he retires. And with HC DK back in PML AD will but used at his full potential. PML saw what DK did with Chris Jones when he was the Chiefs, now imagine that on roids… that’s AD. I’m projecting 30 sacks for Donald and that might be light – Bubba
NFC Offensive Rookie of the Year –
WR Chris Olave – This is where we would have inserted Jameson Williams if he wasn’t out for the season, but Burn is going to take full advantage of his speedy receiver. Olave is 6’1″ with 93 speed and 95 acceleration and he has the perfect compliment in bigger bodied Michael Thomas. Both of these receivers have the ability to beat one on one matchups and we’re going to see Olave potentially lead the NFC in touchdowns.
WR Drake London – Pitts will see doubles all year and Greeny will end up feeding Drake London so much that it’s impossible not to call him rookie of the year. – Kingke
QB Desmond Ridder – After Ridder’s senior season at Cincinnati, and the Falcons current QB situation, Ridder is primed for a elite rookie season. With weapons like monster TE Kyle Pitts, first round rookie Drake London, and even electric veteran hybrid player Corderelle Patterson, Ridder will have every opportunity to be OROY. – Bubba
NFC Defensive Rookie of the Year –
DE Aidan Hutchinson – Kmac is going to take full advantage of Hutchinson’s pass rushing ability. Hutchinson is one of the highest rated rookies and he is 6’7″ so we could see him batting passes down at the line of scrimmage too and possibly intercepting the ball off. – Fallen
DE Aidan Hutchinson – Expect Kmac to be in a-lot of games with a big lead forcing his opponent to throw and expect Aiden Hutchinson to eat. – Kingke
DE Aiden Hutchinson – The #2 overall pick may be just as good or better than the guy before this. Hutchinson is an elite pass rusher and he goes to none other than 2x PML SB Champ Kmac. A pass rusher this deadly paired with a coach like this is a OC’s worst nightmare. Goodly luck NFC Hutch is gonna be a problem. – Bubba
