Last breakdown will be my defensive backs if you know me you know I have an affinity for defensive backs I was a great defensive back I could lock down 1/2 of the field….. playing JV…. but football is football . I really love my defensive backs on this team . They all have found ways to my heart . This is the one position i don’t have to do anything in the whole cycle !
Marlon Humphrey cornerback
X Factor cornerback , nothing left to say Marlon is as advertised and is a lock down corner rarely do I see catches on him really don’t even see people throw the ball in his vicinity there is nothing in this world that can get Marlon to change uniforms. he is a raven for life.
Marcus Peters cornerback
There has been times where Marcus has actually looked as good as Marlon Marcus has had a great season. The only problem with Marcus is occasionally he gets beat deep like in week 18 he got beat by Joe Mixon on a wheel route and I was a little sick watching it but all in all he is a very solid and sometimes great number to corner of paid them already so he won’t be going anywhere and it feels good to have my two starting corners for the cycle.
Kyle fuller cornerback
Kyle has had a very good season as a nickel corner. The problem is he wants to be paid like a starting cornerback and I just can’t do that so I withdrew my offers from him and I decided to bench him for younger right when I thought I didn’t need him anymore. I saw the young guy get burnt in my wild card game and I had to put kyle in and I didn’t hear anything from the nickel for the rest of the game .
Jaelin armour Davis cornerback
Unlike most of these guys in here I’m a real football head so I know these rookies because I’ve watched him playing in college and I like Jalen at Alabama Jaylin made some good plays in Nick Sabins defense. He lined up in the Starr position for Nick so that where i decided to start playing him I started putting him in the star position in my nickel defense and boy did he not disappoint. a 67 overall corner that 93 speed 93 acceleration really is everything the emergence of Jaylin is the reason why I’m so happy I don’t have to pay Kyle .
Marcus Williams free safety
Marcus is one of the most underrated safeties in the game. The thing that makes Marcus so great is his man coverage from the safety position. Besides Marlon Humphrey he is my best slot corner. And he plays free safety. I love Marcus. He leads our team in interceptions. The only thing I need Marcus to do better is recognize when it’s time to match when he’s in cover 4
Kyle Hamilton strong safety
Now this right here is my pride and joy call only has 87 speed but car is 6 foot four and by far the best sub linebacker in the game when he is in a sub linebacker, he has shown the ability to be the most impactful player on my defense early in the season he got beat a lot mean coverage against running backs, and now he is shutting them down and he hasn’t even got points in the system yet
Chuck Clark strong safety
I really got a love for this midget truck, but I can’t pay them. I may have to drop another safety for when call is a sub linebacker to fill-in for Chuck has brought, but Chuck is another player like others that I’ve mentioned that I don’t believe we have a big market in free agency, so I will be able to sign him back for crumbs
Brandon Stephens free safety
It’s time to see if Brandon Stevens can step up. He hasn’t got any playing time this year but with Chuck Clark on his way out it may be time to move Brandon a strong safety and see what he does.
In conclusion
I love everything about this group and I won’t be changing much. I will let them grow together and be brothers together go to the club together get women together and have fun together. I really really love these guys.
