Analysis 1-16: Jcclutch
Analysis 17-32: Arod
1. Jacksonville Jaguars (3-0) +1
Not as dominant of a win as the Jaguars may have wanted but 30 points and a divisional win is always great. Christian Kirk is proving to be an amazing trade as he took the pressure off the rushing game ahead of an easy week 4 matchup.
2. Las Vegas Raiders (3-0) +4
A hot start for Matigy as the Raiders want to make the playoffs and win the AFC west this season. Dominating HD isn’t always impressive but after going 0-2 to him last season, this is a new team that must be respected.
3. Cincinnati Bengals (3-0) -2
A win is a win, but Cammy can’t be happy after narrowly escaping this upset against the Steelers. Burrow was much worse than he’d been, but Joe Mixon helped make sure this one wasn’t lost. The defense was amazing, though and 3-0 is never a bad thing. Big game against CEO upcoming.
4. Green Bay Packers (2-0-1) +3
The Packers have been in 3 close games, including that tie, but are somehow the only undefeated team in the NFC. Hooker continues to be good enough alongside the running back by committee, but like most elite PML teams, the defense is a huge strength as they held the Bears to under 50% completion and under 100 rush yards.
5. Washington Commanders (2-1) +4
Great win for Wimmy, but didn’t have to do much with how well the defense did and set up the offense. A tough matchup against DK and the Rams next week will be a nice tell and a possible NFC championship preview.
6. Seattle Seahawks (2-1) +4
A closer game than it should’ve been, but a very impressive win regardless. CJ Stroud is the clear frontrunner for OROY and Kenneth Walker is the perfect complement. The defense forced 6 turnovers and played an all around great game. Another chance to assert their contender status with a game against the Ravens next week.
7. New York Giants (2-1) +5
A signature win, simple efficient offense with no turnovers and insanely stifling defense. The Giants won off their 4 takeaways and clean offense. Daniel Jones continues to outplay his overall. Game against the Cowboys next week is a divisional matchup that’ll prove their contenders.
8. Minnesota Vikings (2-1) -4
Devin Leary finally had his rookie moment as CEO tossed 6 interceptions with him en route to a blowout loss when so many had bet on him. They didn’t even try to run the ball unfortunately and the defense was fine, but it was too late to get back into the game. A tough bounceback test against Cammy and the Bengals next week.
9. New York Jets (2-1) -5
The Jets hot start comes to an end as Fallen went down big early and couldn’t get close to back into the game. A very big difference in just one week of real time can’t feel good. A game against Nef can build back the confidence and get this team back on the top of the division.
10. Los Angeles Rams (2-1) +3
A great win for DK to show he can return to the 1 seed with a clean game for Stafford for the first time in what feels like forever. Miles Sanders had the game of his life and was used into oblivion to finish the game. The defense shut down the Cardinal’s surging offense holding them to 135 total yards and just 7 points. If DK can beat Wimmy next week he’ll re cement himself as a true contender.
11. Buffalo Bills (2-1) +5
The offense was balanced, clean, and efficient on the backs of Josh Allen and James Cook. The defense was also very impressive holding the Jets to under 200 total yards and 14 points. A big turnaround after their week 1 loss to the Jets and they can keep rolling in the division next week against Que and the Dolphins.
12. Denver Broncos (1-1-1) +6
Javonte Williams carried this game for Deebo as the Broncos rolled over the Texans in a blowout win. Russell Wilson’s statline is reason for concern as a 72.7 rating is disappointing seeing how the Texans allowed two perfect passer ratings before this game. The defense wasn’t amazing but still very solid. Should continue to be on the rise after next week against HD.
13. Kansas City Chiefs (2-1) +4
A huge surprising upset as Jac shutdown CEO and the red hot Vikings to make a big statement in the battle for the AFC West. Mahomes and Pacheco were solid but the defense’s EIGHT takeaways were all it took to absolutely steal this game. Can they continue their good start and take down Matigy’s undefeated Raiders.
14. Arizona Cardinals (2-1) -9
A garbage fire of a game after the great 2-0 start but still a promising team. They struggled in every aspect on defense and on offense so there isn’t much to say. A get right game against the Eagles is what they need and what they have next week.
15. Miami Dolphins (2-1) -7
Jimmy G is not it, but Que is too stubborn to let Tua play at this point. The Dolphins had 0 offense and turned the ball over enough to let the Giants play ball control and score easily. At least they held Saquon Barkley in check. If they can beat the Bills next week they’ll be back in the top 10, but can Jimmy G do it?
16. Dallas Cowboys (1-2) -5
Dak played messy and the Cowboys took the loss because of it. Pollard was the best source of offense and the defense made a bunch of great plays, but the team wasn’t complete and lost because of it. A tough divisional game against the Giants next week will give them a chance to show they are good.
17. Chicago Bears (1-2) -3
A close loss against a better team is nothing to dislike, but the Offense can’t struggle to run and complete passes. The run defense also struggled against the rookie Peoples but was pretty solid overall. This team will need to shut down Jonathon Taylor if they want to get back in the win column next week.
18. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2-1) -3
The offense picked up a little, but still the defense is carrying and Tom Brady has not been the same. Too many turnovers and Codes continues to try and work DTR into the game plan when it has only hurt. Bucs will have a chance next week to show their offense is still legit next week against the Panthers.
19. Baltimore Ravens (1-2) ~
A blowout win, but they don’t move up in the power rankings because of what should be coming. Playing starters up big, subbing them out, and then back in could (and should) lead to a multi-game suspension for multiple starters. Offense and defense were both back to what they were last season but against a weak opponent. Let’s see how they do against Z and the Seahawks before we crown Ke a contender again.
20. Tennessee Titans (1-2) ~
Bubba competed well with the team that comes in at #1 on this list. Bijan Robinson has been spectacular with the most broken tackles in the league and after week 4, they should be 2-2 with a lot of playoff aspirations. We wanna see the passing game shine.
21. Indianapolis Colts (2-1) ~
The defense continues to be elite, especially without an elite pass rusher. Levis was solid in his debut but he didn’t have to do much with the success of the run game and consistently open receivers. Let up a lot of sacks though. The Saints game will be a test.
22. Atlanta Falcons (2-1) +1
A strong all around performance by Greeny despite Jonathan Taylor not doing anything crazy. The defense played near perfect and Ridder had his best game yet. The Falcons could become dangerous and be a playoff team this season. A chance to prove they’re legit in the NFC against the Bears next week.
23. New Orleans Saints (1-2) +2
A solid loss that was closer than the scoreboard showed. Bryce Young is having a nice rookie season and the offense is missing their best wide receiver in Chris Olave. The defense made good plays, but didn’t play a good game. Next week would put them back on track to make the playoffs against the Colts.
24. Detroit Lions (1-2) -2
Baker Mayfield was really bad yet again with less than 50% completion and 4 interceptions. Playing from behind meant the run game was pretty bad as well. Curt let a 57 overall quarterback play a mistake free game and they didn’t stop the run much either. It doesn’t get easier as they play the undefeated Packers next week.
25. Philadelphia Eagles (1-2) +1
Messy offense and not any real defense. Wumbo needs to know when to check it down and needs to get Henry going early to find some success. Not an easy week 4 game against the Cardinals but an opportunity for improvement.
26. San Francisco 49ers (1-2) +3
Impressive win for a team who desperately needed it. Brock Purdy somehow was near perfect and the defense made it a not close game with all those takeaways and the run stuffing. They have a chance to continue their upswing against the Steelers.
27. Los Angeles Chargers (1-2) -3
Such a promising first 6 quarters of the season and such a disastrous other 6. HD has the roster to win and he knows what he has to do, it’s just a matter of execution. Not an easy game against the Broncos coming up, but a turnaround is needed sooner than later.
28. Pittsburgh Steelers (0-3) ~
The Steelers continue to look better but not win. Only 1 interception is certainly a good thing for this team and holding Cammy to 20 points while picking him off 3 times were the keys to winning, but the offense just couldn’t score enough. Definitely a chance to get into the win column next week.
29. New England Patriots (0-3) -2
Nef continues to slide since that promising week 1 game. Mac is making it hard to win and the defense hasn’t been consistent even with a bunch of sacks, they couldn’t get off the field. The road to a win doesn’t get easier playing the Jets who need to bounceback.
30. Cleveland Browns (0-3) ~
This is not where Vet wants to be, but a blowout loss after a close start is where it gets you. The run game was non-existent and Deshaun Watson’s mistakes outweighed his good plays. The bright spot is it should lead to Lamar’s suspension. Tough matchup next week means they probably stay winless one more week.
31. Carolina Panthers (0-3) ~
JT is still looking for his first win after a disappointing showing from Anthony Richardson and the offense in general. On the other side of the ball, the defense was solid against the run, but they let Ridder have the best game of his season.
32. Houston Texans (0-3) ~
Their best game yet, it was still a blowout loss for Drama. Promising improvements moving forward. Even with the losing, the Texans are must-see-TV. Will Jameis Winston throw for a touchdown? Will Deebo Samuel do anything useful? DIvision game up next against Bubba. We’ll see how he does.
