pAfter coming off of a terrible game against the Kansas City Chiefs which they were still able to pull out the W and keep the streak going and heading into the game the raiders had a lot of confidence with this being our 1st game all szn with all starters. Game started off not the best but promising with us driving down the field just to throw a pick, which turned into a broncos Touchdown then we followed that up with a field goal and he answered back with his own making it 10-3. From then on the defense was lockdown and didn’t give up points again, we had a long TD drive before half and 2nd half was all defense, eventually the offense completed a long drive behind Josh jacobs for a TD to start the 4th then rookie 4th round pick rookie moten sealed the game with a pick 6. p
pOverall this was a fantastic game by Josh jacobs who had 22 Carries for 143 yards and the defense has shown the sky is the limit. They have done a complete 180 from the 1st game of the season where they gave up 3 TD drives In a row to start the game. So far thru 5 games they are giving up 16.6 PPG even with the offense giving up some short drives and one defensive TD from picks/ fumbles. I’m very impressed with the dline, it is simply night and day from last year and we have turned our biggest weakness into our biggest strength in my opinion. The run defense has been great. The DBs have been great. Special shout-out to Awuzie for having 7 forced turnovers thru 5 games, he has completely stolen Moe’s spotlight although Moe has only played in 3 games. If he can get back near what he was last szn this could be the best saftey duo in the league. Kingmike up nextp
