What were the keys to the team’s victory this week?
We leaned on the ground game and our work horse Jonathan Taylor. Going into the game we weren’t expecting to get him that many touches, but when the best player gets hot you’ve got to stick with him.
Can you talk about the development of Tyrique Stevenson so far?
He’s coming along great even though he’s not popping off the stat sheet right now. He’s been consistently in the right place to make a play. He needs to improve in his pursuit angles against the run and that will show us big development.
Can you describe how important it was to get a win at home this week?
It was very important. With 5 games left in the season now, and a log jam forming in the playoff race every game counts. We hope to play well enough and keep ourselves in the race. It is a tall task, but we are going to give it our all.
