Did you scout Drake Thomas before the draft? If so, what stood out about him?
No? Why would I scout him? The powder puff went down in our game with turf toe.
Can you describe kind of the energy or the mood and the vibe in the building now coming in the home stretch?
The energy is one game at time. We listen to all the hate and lies thrown on our teams name, and we use that to fuel our fire. Everybody will talk s*** when you down , but you hate on you when you up. But, please don’t stop. We FEED off the negativity. As far as mood goes , we set the tone for every game we play. It’s cliche to say, but we are in control of our destiny.
Can you speak to the overall team health?
The team is fine … we don’t have Rayshawn Slater out until the WC round , so Austin Jackson will be moving to tackle for the time being. He was drafted as a tackle and is comfortable stepping into this role on the Dolphins oline. We did realize we have a Talent to purchase that would you give us +4 Injury for our offense , so we might be thinking about utilizing that.
