In this little CFM, some guys can naturally cause a major rise out of not just their opponent, but the entire league by their play style. But in order to do that, you either need to team to compete and the skill to compete. For this reason, guys like HD and Nef are currently ineligible for this list, cause they don’t win. Guys like Hypemike and Fallen are ineligible because they never seem to have a powerful team you want to root against. And guys like Wimmy and Dlloyd are ineligible because even when they compete and kick your a**, you still shake their hand and say GG after the game. So let’s go, my top 10 PML villains!
10. Jac
Jac exudes the opposite of confidence on the regular.Jac really isn’t cheesy with his gameplay. But when you get Lamar and Mahomes in back-to-back cycles, anything that can be considered “cheese” will get called out. But controversy follows Jac around for multiple reasons. And people love to see when Jac fails with his all-mighty QBs.
9. Drama
Drama is like the class clown of PML. Except he also talks so much trash that you’re bound to be under fire from this man at some point. When Drama is actually winning, he lets you know about it. But Drama can’t be higher because his team building makes him constantly destroy rosters and kill his chances of competing.
8. DK
So DK on the surface is pretty chill, he’s always sending heart emojis and wishing you best of luck in your season, life, and the afterlife. But DK is a killer on the virtual gridiron, and that combined with getting the Chiefs and Rams back to back cycles can make him the opps. Despite that, I would not have included DK on this list without the NFC Championship game controversy last night. But with that, fairly or unfairly, DK is the villain of this year’s Super Bowl. And if he wins, oh boy!
7. Que
Que really is his own worst enemy. Because no one really is bothered by Que…until Que is bothered by them. Que’s desire to trash talk and call out underperformers is fuel for the hate fire. And when Que loses, his haters come out the woodwork and pop the champagne. Que the last two cycles got the timeshare Rams and then the Dolphins. The Dolphins were already good, but Que tanking in year 1 to make them great for the rest of the cycle has drawn the ire of some.
6. Wumbo
I personally am a fan of Wumbo. But I might be the only member of the fan club. Wumbo barely makes playoffs, so how does he even qualify? He’s just a magnet for hate in an indescribable way. The league once conspired to ruin his free agency for crying out loud! Some of this Wumbo brings on himself, like telling big commish JT go F off and getting muted. But even when he tries to innocently put his Eagles GIFs in the chat after a win he gets flamed. And when Wumbo tries to leave to league, oohhh man no one wishes him a happy farewell. Even Wumbo’s voice gets mocked, and he can’t ever change that. And Wumbo actually having a decent season with the powerful Eagles this year was good enough to qualify.
5. Mattigy
A PML rookie cracking the top 5 already is impressive. But Mat has proven that not only will he not back down from any smoke, he’s more than capable of lighting the flame himself. Especially if you are the upcoming opponent of the Raiders, Mat will try to get in your head and make you pop a vessel pre-game. And Mat really started winning this year to back it up. If Mat can win a playoff game or 2 he’ll crack the top 3 no doubt. We can’t send this man into the ghetto next cycle, because he’s exactly the kind of blood-boiling villain that the chat loves to hate.
4. KingKe
Notice how a lot of the players on this list are here just from either their own sheer cockiness or their willingness to talk trash. Ke is proving to be the gold standard for both in PML. And now this cycle he’s taken the almighty Ravens and making life h*** for the AFC. Along with that, Ke’s public willingness to beat down on lower-tier opponents and grab stats along the way has rubbed some the wrong way. When Ke is winning, you know someone else is losing. And I’m not just talking about losing a game.
3. Greeny
Greeny is a lightning rod for controversy. When his team is bad, he dials up his “woe me” attitude tenfold. Between complaining about his team and downplaying his chances to win, he will strike a nerve to annoy you. And when Greeny is winning, it’s bound to be in a controversial fashion. Who else can p*** off their opponent by rolling out the pocket constantly with Phillip Rivers? By throwing too many screen passes? Or just by his jersey choice pre-game. Greeny’s season 1 Chiefs last cycle were one for the record books, with Mahomes rolls out and awkward scheduling literally making him get kicked from the league in the offseason. But…Greeny is always in the Discord as a chill guy, so this impressive resume somehow only lands him at #3.
2. Bubba
When you are this high on the list, you have to be the full package. Cheese gameplay? Bubba will out-Madden you like no one else in the league. Pushing the limits of star players? Josh Allen, nuff said. And not willing to back down from confrontation? Bubba wants all the smoke. That seems to be Bubba’s issue lately, he’s literally taking in too much smoke. It might not be doing his lungs too well. But don’t let this cycle’s Bubba distract you from the legend that was Bills Bubba. And he’s still got that in his arsenal, and if he gets a great team next cycle he’ll make sure to let you know it. Even this cycle, don’t count him out yet
1. Codes
Codes is officially the full package. He just spammed his BACKUP QB so much that it initiated a witch hunt to get his BACKUP QB who like a 67 OVR punished. Codes is also one of the top trash talkers in the league and is unapologetic in his ways. And unlike everyone else on this list, he’s got the big hardware on his shelf. We’re officially one full cycle into having Codes as a PML player, and he’s already created a legendary track record of winning and p****** people off in the process. And the fact he’s doing it with the Bucs this cycle, a top 5 roster off the rip, has been even more controversial. Can’t send this man to the slums next cycle, he’s too for PML to send him into a tailspin.
