Can you talk about the development of Elliot Donald so far?
Elliot Donald showed to be a great addition to this team already, him and his uncle Aaron Donald were playing well together. Having them both come off the edge has a lot of potential we’re excited for. His only tackle was a tackle for loss, but he was in the backfield a lot with pressuring the QB and disrupting the run.
Can you describe how important it was to get a win at home this week?
I think it was important to start off the a season with a win for sure. The home opener has an extra importance to it, but each win is only worth 1 game. This is just one of 17 games and hopefully we can keep it rolling for the rest of the season. It’s a long road ahead
Did you scout Jared HarrisonHunte before the draft? If so, what stood out about him?
No we didn’t really to be honest with you. We had our eyes set on our guys that we have now, along with the talent we already had before the draft. We feel good about who we have now, and it’s a good mix of young and veteran talent. It’s important to strike that balance across the board.
