Over your career, what makes a team better at not turning the ball over as the season goes along? What kind of things you need to emphasize? How much of it is coaching? How much of it is a mental part? Physical part?
You learn as the cycle goes on you need to do a better job of taking what the defense is giving you. By no means do we feel good about the interception total through 5 games (12), but we feel we are going in the right direction in terms of protecting the ball considering the turnover issue season 1 and 2.
What were some of the contributing factors to the loss this week?
We didn't close out the game plain simple. We need to do a better job at protecting leads late in the game and putting teams away. No excuses- we didn't execute on that.
How do you see the competition level in the AFC North currently?
The competition level for the entire cycle has been top heavy with the Ravens and Bengals playing for the top spot year after year. Obviously we would like to be there too but we still have some work to do before that could happen.
