What were the keys to the team’s victory this week?
Staying disciplined is always the key to success with our team. We have a young QB who is getting beat up on by the media right now even though the team is 4-1. That in itself is something the team has rallied behind. Everyone virtual man in that locker room believes in what we are doing and we move as a unit towards what we define as success.
Can you summarize what it was like playing against the 49ers last week?
Stop the run, you stop the 9ers. We went in with a get it out the mud and win the trenches approach. That week in particular we were able to establish dominance which led us to a win.
Can you talk about the development of Amarius Mims so far?
Oh he’s been huge for us. We took a chance on moving Big Bak to the Giants for a late 1st round pick. That allowed us to target Mims early in the draft after moving Quay Walker over to the Chargers. Having a bookend tackle to protect a young QB is essential, and we may have found a generational one.
How has Ryan Tannehill’s experience in the league helped the team so far?
We didn’t even know he was on the team. We are full force behind Hendon Hooker. Tannehill is quite literally a waste of space. I dont even know what he is even here to be honest.
What is the status of Josh Braun and when is he set to return?
Josh is looking like he will be back after the buy. We really like him at the Right Guard position. It’s not often you can find a UDFA and plug him in as a starter that produces.
