Can you summarize what it was like playing against the Saints last week?
Very tough loss giving up the early lead we had. But I'm very encouraged by Drake and really the entire team. Those guys battled, man. Kudos to the Saints and their staff for outlasting us, but man we're fired up with some of the improvement we saw in that game.
How is the team handling the bye week this week?
Guys are in the training room doing what they need to do to take care of themselves. As a staff we're doing a lot of evaluation, nothing new. I'm expecting a fully healthy team in week 7 and guys to come out inspired.
Over your career, what makes a team better at not turning the ball over as the season goes along? What kind of things you need to emphasize? How much of it is coaching? How much of it is a mental part? Physical part?
It's 1000% mental. I'm never mad at guys trying to make plays, but there comes a time where you really have to focus on your execution and trust your preparation. We're getting better each with so I'm pleased.
