Can you talk about the development of C.J. Hicks so far?
We believe that CJ Hicks can come in and make a real impact for us. He will start aside Roquan Smith and Logan Wilson. He’s going to be a starter on day one, but his ability to rush the passer is a little shaky, but he could potentially play all three downs after he’s worked on that a bit.
RB Keaton Mitchell is so impressive, how hard he runs is so apparent. What else about his skill set makes him special?
Well, folks, Keaton Mitchell’s ability to be the league MVP and grow into a force gave us the ability to bring in Patrick Mahomes and for that, I thank him and wish him the very best in Kansas City.
Can you speak to the overall team health?
Heading into the pre-season, our team is 100% healthy but in week 17 of last season, we lost a few critical pieces on defense that really impacted our ability to play in week 18. We have fixed that by adding some depth to our defense.
