Can you talk about the development of Maalik Murphy so far?
Malik Murphy came in for his first NFL action presesaon week 1 and was as advertised. He finished with 232 yards, 3td/1int on a 108 qb rating for the 1st half of action. We will use training camp to further develop some of his skills in addition to maximizing his attribute request as quickly as possible. He was known in college as a running quarterback as he ran for over 1000 yards and 12 touchdowns, so the Pittsburgh coaches must come up with schemes to fit Murphys skillset
How has DeAndre Hopkins’s experience in the league helped the team so far?
We believe Hopkins still has a lot left in the tank and will serve as a prime target for our rookie quarterback. He is also a valuable locker room piece for our young receiving that includes newly drafted Evan Stewart.
When the schedules were released this past offseason, analysts said you had one of the easier schedules they've seen. Do you see it that way as well?
The Steelers have a 3rd place schedule this season and although looks generous compared to season 3 when we had the toughest schedule in the league, there are no easy wins or pushovers in PML. We look forward to seeing how our moves played out and will check back afterthr first quarter of the season.
