Some weird trades that happened this offseason. Let’s get into it. (This is not really a serious article.)
5. JAX sending Shaq Griffin to NYJ for Draft Picks + Tyson Campbell to DAL for Draft Picks
What the h*** are the Jaguars doing? It only took their front office three years to realize that they gotta rebuild….these guys shipped off all of their Cornerbacks and went into the draft with zero CBs on their roster. Now they got a CB core full of rookies backed up behind two young amazing safeties. The Jaguars are on the right track but are way too late on the rebuild. On the other hand, the Jets and Cowboys got great pieces for their teams who are in win now mode.
4. GB Sending Eric Stokes and Pick 20 to DEN for Patrick Surtain
This trade is not bad at all really, it is just a W** type of trade with the teams and players involved. First of all, why would Denver get rid of their best defensive player? On the other hand, why would the Packers get rid of a 99 speed CB who is 6ft tall and young? It is honestly an odd trade but I think a great move for both sides. The only way to see who won the trade is who performs better. We now have let the Packers get another ability player on their defense that is already stout. They now have two superstar Corners….good luck NFC.
3. TEN sending Kristian Fulton to SEA for Pick 30
If you check the trade block channel the last year you saw TEN trying to shop Fulton all year long. All you would see is literal laughing emojis on his player card. I hate to break it to the SEA front office, but you have gotten finessed my friend. TEN gets away with sending a MID corner at best on a TERRIBLE contract and got a FIRST ROUND PICK in return. This is literally robbery. I mean talk about robbing someone in broad daylight, my goodness. The man is like a 82 OVR CB getting paid like he’s Jalen Ramsey.
2. PIT sending Joe Milton to SF for Pick 75
The only logic I can get behind this trade is that both of these men were intoxicated. Why on God’s Green Earth would a man trade for Joe Milton? The Niners are known for doing a whole lot of unorthodox s*** but this hit it out of the park. I have absolutely no idea what his thinking is behind this. You have Trey Lance on your roster. If you check chat there is literally over six laughing emojis on the announcement.
1. KC Sending Patrick Mahomes to NYJ for Ashtyn Davis, Keaton Mitchell, and Trevor Lawrence
This could go down as the biggest W** trade in PML history. The Chiefs traded probably the most untradeable player in ALL OF SPORTS. He still had his abilities too. A 97 OVR QB with abilities locked in on a 10 year deal was sent away for some pieces. The Jets absolutely nailed this trade. If there is any chance to get a generational player, you do it. On the other hand, I have no idea what the Chiefs are doing. They got a great haul back for Mahomes, but was it really worth it? Especially with Trevor Lawrence involved who has been passed around like a blunt throughout the entire league. This QB obviously has issues and is on his fourth team already. Maybe if another QB was involved it may not be as bad, but he took on the PML Hoe which is Trevor Lawrence this cycle.
