How has Russell Wilson’s experience in the league helped the team so far?
We've moved on from Russ but he has become a great Mentor and we now feel like we have to Head Coaches that share one vision. Love how he has accepted his new role and lets face it 40 million dollars to be a Mentor aint so bad.
What is the status of Jerry Jeudy and when is he set to return?
Jerry is a trooper, he'll be back in 3 more weeks. Making great progress on his Torn Labrum, we didnt want him out there but he is a warrior and wants to get better every day. Hard to keep a guy like that off the field.
Over your career, what makes a team better at not turning the ball over as the season goes along? What kind of things you need to emphasize? How much of it is coaching? How much of it is a mental part? Physical part?
I think we've change the dynamic of this team. Got younger in some areas but with that youth came so much athleticism. Now we need to execute the plan in game of pounding the rock and creating turnovers.
How do you see the competition level in the AFC West currently?
We all challenge each other to be playoff ready, last year entire division was one game apart for majority of the season, I expect that to be the same this year. We cannot got 1-6 in the vision again. We simply cannot. Division losses take a serious toll on the team morale. We will approach those game with much more tenacity this year.
When the schedules were released this past offseason, analysts said you had one of the easier schedules they've seen. Do you see it that way as well?
No I do not, nothing is easy in this league. NOTHING. Especially with such a young team, I dont expect a single win to come easy. I do however expect to win.
Who is your quarterback, and why?
Ty Simpson, he has the tools to get the job done from the pocket. We wont ask him to come in and carry the team. Ty just has to protect the football. Be a leader of this team. We dont need him to be the league MVP!
