What were the keys to the team’s victory this week?
The chargers OL is flat out garbage, we knew we could beat every single guy on that OL one on one. So the key was to execute that and get pressure constantly.
Can you summarize what it was like playing against the Eagles last week?
Very competitive game against a great team. We took too long to figure them out. Proud of the guys for not quitting, came down to a hailmary after being down 34-14! Thats some serious fight!
Can you talk about what it’s like to prepare to go against a player like Justin Herbert?
He is a great arm talent but when pressured and taking away his first read, he doesnt make great decisions. Stoic Philosophy says "focus your efforts on the things you can control and once you do that many worries will vanish"
What kind of player do you see when you look at Justin Herbert?
Overreated, he wows us with his arm and makes us forget he literal throws games away and blows leads very often.
Did you scout Cooper Dejean before the draft? If so, what stood out about him?
No, this is the NFL not the olympics!
What are your thoughts about the Chargers just in general as a team?
They are in trouble going forward, if anybody watched my game versus them, they have the blueprint.
