Analysis 1-16 Fallen

Analysis 17-32 Arod

Raiders (4-0): 2nd in total offensive points and 1st in defensive points allowed, the Raiders are wearing their glass slippers and praying that the clock never strikes midnight in PML. Quality wins over the Bears and the Jaguars have the Vegas faithful believing that Matigy is the coach that will lead the Raiders to their first ever Superbowl victory in PML.

Bears (3-1): Holding a team to 0 points in 40 minutes is more impressive than the 3-1 start that the Bears have put themselves in. The Bears have the best statistical defense against the pass, but I want to see a more balanced approach out of them. They rank dead last against the run. When the ball is handed off, it’s like the opposing line parts the red sea and away the ball carrier goes. If Chicago can be more balanced on defense, I like them as the favorite in the NFC.

Browns (4-0): 179 points in 4 games, wow. In his debut, DOC scored 13 points against the Saints and followed that up in week 18 with just 14 points against the Raiders. He’s now averaging 44 points a game, can a coach really improve that much in just one off-season? Deshaun Watson has gone from throwing in the towel to contending for the MVP. Someone needs to test out the water in Cleveland, bottle it, and label it as MJ’s secret stuff.

Rams (3-1): David vs Goliath, and David was trampled all over in week 4 when the Rams tore a hole into the 49ers dreams of going undefeated. For a defense that is stacked at the DB position, I honestly expected much better than being ranked 12th against the pass. Nonetheless, the Rams will keep taking care of business this season.

Packers (3-1): The NFC North is a two team race between the Packers and the Bears. Aaron Rodgers destroyed the morale in Green Bay with his disappearing act, but the Packers led by Hoocker are showing him that his time in Green Bay is old news. The Packers offense is led by a dual threat committee and the hot hand is the starter week over week.

Ravens (3-1): Baltimore has renamed it’s illustrious city to Perry, in honour of A.T Perry’s streaking jump ball that seems automatic every week. He has been suspended for usage in the past, but Lamar Jackson is riding high and will target his favourite receiver when he’s desperate for a score.

Cowboys (3-1): Death by the CPU. Blitz, press, and crossers; these are the sure fire ways to beat the computer on All-Madden. If you give the computer time to pass, they will eat you alive and the Cowboys who rightfully should be 4-0 learned the hard way this week.

Giants (2-2): Here’s the New York Giants that we’re used to seeing. Riding a two game win streak, the Giants shutdown the Eagles hopes of climbing the ladder. Don’t sleep on wide receiver De’Zhaun Stribling, I guarantee his name will be in the hat for ROTY.

Colts (3-1): Titans, Texans, Cardinals… but a loss to the 49ers. Can we take the Colts seriously this season? JC said that he is a regular season champion, but maybe he can build that momentum into winning the division this season with the rest of his division taking a backseat view through four weeks.

Bills (3-1): What’s with X-factor quarterbacks averaging 3, 4, 5+ interceptions in PML this season? Are defenses catching up or are the quarterbacks being too careless with the football? Regardless, the Buffalo Bills are in a much better position that last season, they’ve almost eclipsed half of their wins for the season. Their opponents are 2-10 on the season, those that they’ve beaten, so I guess a third place scheduled also helps a team bounce back.

49ers (3-1): I think the 49ers are pretenders. Although, I want to believe in Ant badly. He possesses all the tools to be great, but I don’t think he’s been able to defeat his division mates on a consistent basis all cycle and it’s not going to magically start in season 4. Trey Lance is on fire to start the season though, his 12-4 TD – INT ratio ranks as one of the best in the league.

Seahawks (2-2): An upset loss to the Commanders this week is not what the Seahawks wanted or expected. It was obvious that they didn’t come prepared and underestimate the Commanders 0-3 record. However, they’re hosting MVP Lamar Jackson this upcoming week, so they better come prepared to stop Lamar’s rushing attack and the deep ball to Perry.

Bucs (2-2):Is Jacurri Brown the answer in Tampa? I doubt it. Tampa ranks 31st in passing yards. Brown is an inconsistent passer at best, but the Buccs have a dual threat rushing attack that will lead them to enough wins to surpass any other in their timeshare of a division.

Jaguars (1-3): I didn’t want to believe the rebuild had started in Jacksonville, but they are on a three game losing streak, however, with games against the Chiefs, Chargers, 49ers, and Texans, I can see them easily get back to 5-3 before their bye week in week 9.

Dolphins (2-2): Say it ain’t so, the Miami woes. The Dolphins allowed the Jets to pick up a victory after taking a commanding 21-0 lead early in the first quarter this week. Que is technically 1-1 in games that he’s played this season, but with three 99 like speed players on your offense, points are always easy to come by.

Eagles (2-2): Who is the biggest pretender, the Eagles or the 49ers? The Eagles have allowed 45+ points in back to back games and the morale of the players is at an all time low. Isaiah Bond is averaging 40 yards per reception.. That is absolutely insane. He is one of the best deep threats in the league, he’s very Desean Jackson like. However, the Eagles might want to mix in some short throws, otherwise Bond will find himself facing a 4 game suspension in a few weeks.

Commanders (1-3): The win on the road in Seattle is just what Wimmy needs to pick up momentum to keep pace with the division.  Offense is struggling ranking in the bottom 3 in most categories, but the defense has been lights out.  Big matchup vs Matigy on deck week 5.

Chiefs (2-2): Believe it or not, Trevor Lawrence is having a better season right now than Patrick Mahomes is over in New York.  While it is nice to sit at .500, a Justin Field-less Jacksonville team will host Mali and the Chiefs in week 5.

Titans (2-2): Bubba is slowly climbing the rankings after an ugly 0-2 start to the season.  There are rumblings of a Malik Willis – Justin Herbert swap in the works. Hey, I’ve seen crazier trades happen.

Texans (2-2): Seems more than likely Drama blatantly played his starting quarterback into a two game suspension.  Not to mention there may have been other starters on the field while he openly continued to pass and score on good ol’ commish JT.  Drama probably earned himself the Trojans B**** of the Week award. Makes no sense.

Jets (2-2): I’ve said it all season, the Jets are plagued by their inability to put together a steady string of wins.  As I said earlier, Lawrence is outplaying Mahomes and the Jets at 2-2 are not where they want to be after picking up arguably the best player in the game.  Nevertheless, a big win over Que and the Dolphins week 4 as both teams now trail the division leading Bills by a game.

Saints (2-2): Bryce Young has 5 interceptions on the season, and 4 of them were week 4 in the blowout loss to the Titans.  Looking at the bright side, the Saints still sit tied for first place with the Buccaneers.  The way they handled the Falcons earlier in the season, the Saints have a pretty good chance to climb above .500 next week and give the Bucs some competition as we pass the quarter mark of the season.

Patriots (2-2): Caleb Williams is currently on pace for 59 interceptions which will surely disrupt coach Nef’s game plan as he tries to avoid the 39int black hole.  Doesn’t bode well for a team destined to compete after showing so much development last season.

Bengals (1-3): Cammy isn’t having the start to the season many expected.  Joe Mixon, who was on the trade block this off-season, currently has the Bengals sitting at 32nd in the league in rushing.  While you try and fill the void of Ja’Marr Chase, looking to the ground hasn’t been a feasible option thus far.

Broncos (1-3): Its hard not to give the Broncos some credit on the season so far.  Their point differential is positive and they’ve had a tougher schedule than the rest of the division.  They’ve lost all 3 games by under a score.  If I’m Deebo, I am holding my head up and looking forward to the other 3 quarters of the season.

Chargers (2-2): Back-to-back blow out loses leaves HD and the Chargers sitting at the bottom percentile of the rankings.  For a team desperate to improve on the defensive side of the ball, why is Khalil Mack on the trade block? A team many thought would win the division, are suddenly trying to find an identity once again.

Vikings (1-3): Well, a win is a win and the Vikings make a small climb up the board.  CPU games really make me break kayfabe, so I’ll try and stick to the script.  ‘Vikings with a huge win over the undefeated Cowboys on the road! Rookie phenom Cade Clubnik led the way with 220 yards on 2 tds and 2 int. Strong win for CEO!’ How was that?

Lions (1-3): The Lions have lost the last 3 games by a combined score of 100, which includes a 48-0 shutout loss to the Bears.  While it’s easy to blame the suspensions handed out to Swift and Williams, the team shouldn’t be put in a position to have these suspensions even occur.

Panthers (1-3): All is bad right now in Carolina.  Anthony Richardson is on the shelf for 8 weeks, and season 4 JT seems like it will be postponed until season 5.  Matt Carroll looked terrible throwing 6 interceptions.  Maybe call Cam Newton out of retirement? Jameis Winston isn’t such a bad idea either.

Cardinals (1-3): Tyler Van Dykhe got the start one week removed from the Zach Wilson 6 interception gem. At this point, what do the Cardinals have to lose?

Steelers (0-4): Steelers are hanging close in every game, but just aren’t getting it done or holding leads. The offense looks way better than previous seasons, but they cannot get into the win column as they continue to be the league jobber and play at a historically bad level.

Falcons (0-4): Things are getting bad in Atlanta. With loses to Nef, Burn, and JT, the momentum from last season is all but gone. They have a final shot to turn things around with the Saints rolling up on the schedule (who have already beat them by 23).
