Here you can request an attribute upgrade for players on your team. Each base upgrade costs 1 content point (subject to increase for veteran players). The number of upgrades a player can receive per season is now influenced by the Trainer System, which allows you to expand a player's upgrade limit by upgrading their trainer. Click this section to quickly go to the attribute request form.
- Players can be upgraded once every 24-48 hours, depending on player dynamics (focus, wellness, and trust).
- Each player can be upgraded up to 10 times per season at Level 0 (up to 25 times with the Trainer System at Level 3).
- Each attribute can only be upgraded 5 times per season, regardless of the trainer level.
- Attribute upgrades are capped at a maximum rating of 85. If an attribute exceeds 85 after applying an upgrade, any overages will be applied to the player's lowest attribute from Stamina, Toughness, Injury, or Awareness. Alternatively, the editing commissioner may reassign the upgrade to another attribute below 85 at their discretion.
- You can only upgrade a player's non-physical attributes. Speed, Acceleration, Agility, Strength, Change of Direction, Throw Power, Jumping, and Hit Power cannot be upgraded.
Note: If you make any changes on this form before you submit, give it about 5-10 seconds before hitting submit to let the database catch up to your selections.
Trainer System
The Trainer System allows you to increase a player's personal upgrade limit per season by upgrading their trainer. This is a one-time cost, and the trainer stays with the player throughout the entire cycle, even if they are traded.
- Level 0: 10 upgrades/season – No cost
- Level 1: 15 upgrades/season – 20 points
- Level 2: 20 upgrades/season – 30 points
- Level 3: 25 upgrades/season – 40 points
Note: You must purchase each level sequentially (e.g., to reach Level 3, you must first buy Level 1 and Level 2). After purchasing a trainer upgrade, it may take a few minutes to a couple of hours for the backend system to update. Plan ahead to maximize your players' development potential.
Vet Tax
Players aged 28 or older are subject to a Vet Tax on attribute upgrades. For these players, each attribute request will cost 3 content points instead of 1. Be sure to plan your content points accordingly for veteran players, as the increased cost reflects their higher experience and ability.
Focus
Allows your players to be developed. They will appear on the attribute request form if they have at least 50% focus.
Increase focus by scheduling position group meetings with the head coach or position coaches within the immersion system.
Wellness
Determines the recovery time for your player to develop. If your player has at least 50% wellness, they can be developed once every 24 hours instead of once every 48 hours.
Increase a player's wellness by conducting 1-on-1 head coach meetings with the player or using the training staff within the immersion system. The player's position group will also receive a wellness boost as a by-product.
Trust
Trust determines whether your attribute request will succeed or fail. Players with <50% trust have a high chance of their request failing, costing you content points and counting toward the player's upgrade limits without improving the attribute. To guarantee a successful attribute request, your player’s trust must be at 100%.
Increase trust by completing press conferences and other activities within the immersion system.
