How does the loss this week prepare you for the next game?
We need to do a better job at holding onto the lead in the 4th quarter. Half of our losses this season have come from our inability to maintain the lead we’ve built. We’ve gone into halftime with plenty of leads this season only to lose the game in the fourth quarter, it’s unacceptable. Playoffs for us started two weeks ago, but every game down the stretch is a must win.
How do you see the competition level in the AFC East currently?
No one wants to win. The Dolphins, Bills, even the Patriots. All of us have the ability to win the division, but have struggled this season in one fashion or the other.
Can you speak to the overall team health?
Injuries are hitting us significantly. We are down two offensive linemen this week and against the Falcons, we had lost a third. But, it’s a next man up kind of mentality in New York. Although injuries down the stretch are far worst than ones that happen in the beginning of the season.
