Transcript: Eagles Head Coach Press Conference

How do you see the competition level in the NFC East currently?

The competition level in the NFC East is fierce and always unpredictable. Each team has its strengths and weaknesses, and any team is capable of stepping up and making a playoff push. It's an exciting division to be a part of, and we know we need to bring our A-game every week to compete and come out on top.

Your team is one of the oldest teams in the league in terms of average age. How do you feel about the future of this team while not having as many young players as other teams? Do you think having an older team has its benefits?

While we may have an older team in terms of average age, I believe that experience and veteran leadership bring valuable benefits to the team. Our older players have a wealth of knowledge and a deep understanding of the game, which can be invaluable in high-pressure situations. Additionally, their mentorship and guidance help shape the younger players and contribute to their development. While we recognize the importance of adding young talent for the future, we also appreciate the contributions and impact our experienced players bring to the team's success in the present.

Can you speak to the overall team health?

As the head coach, I prioritize the overall team health and well-being of our players. We have a dedicated medical and training staff that works closely with the players to monitor their health, manage injuries, and implement injury prevention protocols. While we inevitably face injuries like any other team, we focus on a comprehensive approach to optimize player health and availability. Regular check-ups, conditioning programs, and proper recovery methods are key components in maintaining the overall health and performance of our team.
