Z and I will be giving you our take on how we would do team selections for next cycle and giving an analysis on why those users for those teams. Our goal will be to release a division every night around 10 PM EST (we are human so some things may come up).
Codes’ NFC West
Niners – Nef: Nef gets probably the best system IRL so this will test Nefs football knowledge to see if he can try to replicate the unique offense the Niners have. I could see him competing with this stacked Niners squad.
Cardinals – Kingmike: The best user in the group is 100% Kingmike which is why he gets the worst team in the division but at the same time he gets Kyler, Simmons, Hollywood, and a few other good pieces he can build on.
Rams – Drama: Then you add Drama with a very mid team… but he will spice up the trash talk in the division. Would love to hear the back and forths between Drama and Mike. I’m not sure how he will do when it comes to the actual team building because the Rams need it badly, but this will be a good test to see if Drama is truly invested in PML.
Seahawks – Greeny: Greeny gets an upgrade over the Falcons with a lot of young pieces that fit his playstyle (DK, K9, Woolen) there’s of course the QB situation, but Greeny has always been run first anyways and Geno will be cool for the first 1-2 seasons.
Z’s NFC West
Seahawks- Z: This might be the easiest selection I can make. I believe I’ve shown this cycle that I can take a young and underdeveloped squad and turn them into a formidable unit. Some of the biggest developments were that of Tariq Woolen (started at 66 overall and is now 85 overall) and the team overall, going from a 79 at the start of the cycle (with a 74 overall defense!) to 88 all around. It’s also my favorite team, people with their favorite teams are typically more motivated to be successful.
Rams – Matigy: He’s a true competitor that built together a solid Raiders squad. He’s also dominated a relatively weak division the past 3 seasons. It’s time for an upgrade in not only divisional competition, but early cycle team-building adversity.
Cardinals – CEO: He’s complained up and down about his quarterback situation the entire cycle. He’s also had great teams over the past couple of cycles. This gives him the best of both worlds: a rebuilding team and a mobile quarterback. The rest is up to him to put together.
49ers – Cammy: He’s had a great showing with the Cincinnati Bengals. Let’s see if he can do it again with a team built to compete from day 1, but with a QB that most certainly will not have a velo ability heading into next cycle.
